Customers are saying

Customers commend the Move Smart Portable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Speaker's superb sound quality, particularly its amazing bass and impressive volume. Its portability and long battery life are also frequently praised, making it a convenient and versatile option. However, some customers find the speaker's weight and size to be drawbacks, and a few mention that the price point may be relatively high. Amazing sound and base. Battery lasts very long. I use this as my main living room speaker and just pick up ans go whenever i want. Great at the beach/lake. The charger it comes with is great. Always charged and ready to go. I wish it could turn bluetooth on automaticlly when no wifi is connected. App is great. Works flawlessly with alexa. This is my primary alexa speaker.

Love this speaker!! I use it in my kitchen and couple it with the speakers in my living room (beam and sub) and then take it into our backyard when we’re by the pool - it is loud enough to cover most of our backyard and the sound doesn’t distort - also the battery lasts a long time - I’ve had it outside over 7+ hours and it was going strong!! This was a great purchase I’d definitely recommend it

Impressive sound. It is a heavy and well made speaker that integrates nicely with Sonos ecosystem. However, it cannot play TV audio. Switching to and from bluetooth audio sources is a simple press of a button. Definitely not for outdoor (camping, beach, etc) use but very good for bringing around the house or use in the backyard by the pool. Love this speaker. Only obvious downside is my unit's battery life isnt stellar

Great sound that you'd expect from Sonos, in a portable device. The speaker is heavy, but I assume this is from the quality audio components and a sizable battery.

So I won this item from a contest. It’s a good speaker, but it’s also a good size. The handle for it is amazing and feels nice, as does the charging method! That’s really neat how it just plops in there and charges. It also holds a good charge and can connect really easy. I dislike how I have to have an app for it as I own nothing else Sonos related, but the app is good quality and setup nicely so it’s whatever. Just wish it was compatible with my Sony TV but that’s on Sony’s software and not Sonos. Anyways, great idea but that original MSRP doesn’t attract many people, at all. Sonos is new to the portable game... but they have what it takes.

A speaker that does it all. It connects to your home’s system, alexa enabled, and doubles as a portable bluetooth speaker when you take it out. It does all of that without clunky apps or buttons. As for the sound quality, it is what you’d expect from Sonos: excellent. It projects an expansive sound stage with clear highs and mids without distorting the music. The bass has to be felt to be believed.

We have a Sonos Five in the living room. We brought this in and compared sound back and forth between speakers. This Move sounded as good as the Five. We also brought it to the lake for a kids' back to school party. The sound was rich and full in open spaces, and carried well. We played for a couple of hours and barely touched the battery life. It is a hugely versatile speaker.

In complete transparency, I was in love with the Sonos ecosystem before purchasing this speaker, but I’m still very impressed. This speaker is primarily paired with a Sonos Beam in my living room and does an incredible job, but the speaker really shines when taking it from its dock and bringing the party wherever you go! My family loves to pair this speaker with our projector and watch movies under the stars. It’s so easy to switch from Bluetooth, WiFi then paired right back to the home theater. The price is a bit steep, but so far, it’s been money well spent.

Sonos delivers the goods again with this superior design that has great utility. The integrated handle and ease for charging, plus aesthetic make this a very attractive product to use. The setup was the usual bit of some difficulty to get things to synch. The price of course is a premium, but at least the product is excellent. I just wish Sonos could preserve good reliability as it seems sometimes that I have hiccups around any event with guests coming over. I suspect it is due to me having nearly 15 years of various products trying to work together.

Just getting around to the Sonos Eco system. Glad I choose this as my smart speaker. Previously had a UE Boom 2 and there is no comparison. Wish Amazon would allow Sonos to use the Drop in feature/Phone calls, but with that feature there would be no need for an Echo device. Great sound quality, decent bass, and awesome connectivity options. I enjoy controlling my smart home and wirelessly streaming Apple Music from the device. And yes, It travels around the house with me and on the go when needed away from home. Looking forward to adding more Sonos into my home.

I have a handful of different Sonos products and I really like the sound of this. In comparing to the Sonos 1, this sounds way better hands down. The ability to move it around the house/outside, etc is also great. It's really a nice speaker. I have not really had to put the battery to the test yet as I sit it on the dock usually.

These speakers sound good, are a little heavy and do last a while on lower volumes. I use these speakers to be able to take out to the backyard while having company over or sitting around the fire pit. They are responsive when using the application and the Sonos app works well especially if you have apple music. I however do not think they are worth the 400 price tag. I purchased two of them and 800 bucks is a lot for what these are. The sound good but they don't sound "THAT" good. I've been able to get about 6 hours out of a battery on medium volume, I think the 11 hour is on very low. Like sonos and the flexibility but you're paying for the app and not the speaker is my opinion.

I’m a huge fan of Sonos. Replaced all my wired hi-fi in the house with a Sonos system to streamline, simplify, and put sound in every room and area. This speaker is the usual rugged and top-of-the-line Sonos build quality, but it has some product design flaws that would not stop me for buying it again, but are extremely frustrating coming from a company that makes a great premium product. The sound is absolutely outstanding with full range and rich bass. This speaker sounds superior to the Era 100, and a pair of these on my large deck fills the area with sound without needing walls to confine and enhance. There are three major design flaws that have not been fixed in the updated version either. First, the capacity touch controls are on top, and while the speakers are weatherproof, even a light rain will trigger the controls and can easily raise the volume all the way up to 100%, causing disturbing noise and risking blowing the speaker. Second, the charging rings are not weatherproof even though the speaker is. Third, the USB-C ports on the back meant for alternative charging in power supply are not covered or protected in any way and are the single point of failure of the weatherproofing. The tiniest amount of water in there just once was enough to permanently damage and disable this port on one of my speakers, which was replaced under warranty by Sonos. The speakers are also shockingly expensive, way up into the apple price range, even more expensive than an Era 300. Really too much money, but finding them on sale as an option. That said, I would buy them again years from now when these finally wear out.

I love Sonos overall for the sound quality, convenience, and appearance. I added this "Move" to use on our patio or in the garage, which I plan to do when it gets warmer. Now I use it to move around the house to add more sound to a room with another speaker, or, just to pick it up and carry it to my new location without having to switch rooms on my stationary speakers via the Sonos app. The battery life is a bit shorter than expected, but I mean days not hours so it certainly should last through a patio-sitting before needing a recharge. Love it!
