Unbelievable sound for portable speaker. Battery lasts all day of playing

If you are invested in Sonos it’s a no brainer. If you just need a good outdoor speaker with Bluetooth I think it’s a hard sale. I love it but I have Sonos in every room. Sound is excellent and quality is top notch. I just drag it around my yard and patio. The carry handle is not great so maybe not best for long travels but I think for around the house, beach, pool, or picnic it’s perfect.

I wanted some outdoor sound for my lake house but sus t want the expense or complexity of wiring up speakers and an amp, and I enjoy the Sonos ecosystem. I found this open box on a good discount and took the plunge. We affectionately call it the toe killer as my wife dropped it on her toe and got a compound fracture requiring a lengthy recovery. So it’s beefy and the sound is good. I haven’t stressed the battery life yet and I wish it was easier to move it between Sonos systems as I have one in each house, but a factory reset isn’t overly complicated. I haven’t tested the range as I use it near the house, but I’ve had no issues with WiFi drops or breakups so far.

I really love the speaker, the sound quality and volume levels it can reach are fantastic. The only thing that keeps it out of a 5 star review is the battery life. I know with the Move 2, the battery life is doubled (from 12 hours to 24 hours). But for the price, this is worth it. I imagine the price drop was due to the new Move 2 coming out soon, so I pounced on this one.

The SONOS move was the perfect addition to my home SONOS Eco System. I have been using the connect for years now attached to my home It has given me ability to add a voice control speaker with blue tooth into areas where I need to have portable sound such as the backyard, front porch and garage. Plus an option for great sound using as a Bluetooth speaker when not in WiFi range.

Love this! Sound is exceptional, easy to setup, ‘moves’ to wherever you are.

I was a bit skeptical of Sonos and the price point, but after testing it out, I think I’m completely sold. Great tech in these speakers and the service - I can play straight from WiFi without connecting my phone, can use airplay, or bt. It takes a few minutes to learn, but the options are great. Sound is really good and I like the charging stand that comes with it. The weight is just right, it will be great by the pool and is already a nice addition for normal in home listening. I picked up a Roam as well and streaming to both is hassle free. Great packaging as well! Now, can’t wait to start saving and add more Sonos to our house. I’m during pairing the sub to my set up will be just what we need to really keep that part going!!

Best Sonos speaker I have. I have it tied to the S1 but its just as good as the newer speakers I have tied to the S2 and the battery life is long. If you really need to charge on the go make sure you have 45+ watt charger.

Sonos Move is pleasant sounding portable WiFi/Bluetooth monophonic speaker with a digital connection. Does it sound as good as the best speaker in its weight class? Maybe. Is its digital assistant integration incredible? Maybe not too different than one of the Google hockey pucks, and the Sonos radio isn't amazing right out of the box. However, if you subscribe to music/radio/podcast services it can be pretty nice,
