Speaker just what we were looking for. Big enough for great sound but small enough to be portable. Crisp clear sound, nice deep bass. Couldn't ask for more out of this speaker. Very satisfied. Charges quick and lasts long. Love our sonos products

Great addition to my somos family. Great sounding unit and provides the freedom and flexibility to switch from Bluetooth or WiFi. Battery life is great as well. So far no complaints and it’s louder than most speakers on its family.

Move or Roam…I like Move Best!

This sound is amazing! I have SONOS throughout my home, but I’d had my eye in the Move for quite some time. I had intended to get the Roam, but I really wanted the gusto when it came to the sound quality…so I bit the bullet and bought the Move…and it doesn’t disappoint. This has such deep, nice sound. I love the AirPlay 2 and the ability to use Bluetooth…no need for WIFI connection. If I could trade the Move for 3 Roams, I would NOT do it. The only reason to go with Roam would be Price and ease of carrying when out and about. If price is not an issue and the size isn’t an issue…this is for you. I use it all the time within my home even though I have SONOS everywhere. It’s nice having a great speaker near by.

We recently purchased a Sonos Move speaker and we are very pleased with our purchase. The sound quality is terrific and it was easy to set up and to operate via the Sonos app. We use our Move speaker primarily in the kitchen, which is adjacent to a large, cavernous great room where we have two Sonos Five speakers. I have no idea how it all works, but the Five speakers work in concert with the Move speaker, so we get seanmless sound as we go from one room to the other. We also use the Move speaker on our deck and it is awesome. Just pick it up and put it down on a table and you have high quality sound wherever you want it.

Purchased 2 Sonos wireless speakers and soundbar 2 weeks ago and Love the sound quality. Easy to use. Recommend you enable voice control so you can talk to the speaker. You can sync to the soundbar or use separately if you have someone watching tv and someone else listening to music outside or in another room. No remote- controlled by phone app or voice commands. Charge lasts about ten hours- we keep on the charging base when not turned on

Great speaker, full sound and wonderful battery life. Sonos claims it is around 11 hours of battery life and it sure comes close to that. Great sound from a small speaker and love the backyard portability of it. Probably would go with a UE Boom or something similar if my primary need was away from home, as this one isn't completely weather proof, but for a nice backyard speaker with some portability options, it works great. One thing I don't like is I can't seem to find a way to truly turn it off. There is a power button in the back, but even when you turn it off from that, it will come back on if it hears "OK Google" even in another room. This wouldn't be a huge deal, but it is made worse because it doesn't seem to go back off at all once it hears that. So, if you don't realize it woke up, it will fully drain it's battery waiting for another command that never comes. So I knocked a star off because of that and for the fact it is only IP56 rated. For $400, I don't think asking for at least IP57 (reasonable water proofness vs just water resistance) or maybe even IP67 (dust tight, water tight) is too much to expect.

Amazing sound. We love the portability. We got about 7hrs on a full charge, with volume at 80%-90%. A little heavy. The only issue we had was the sonos app disconnecting randomly with the device.

Very cool speaker. Very crisp sound with surprisingly clean bass for a speaker this size. Can pair with other sonos speakers, or pick up and take with you. Took it camping, and battery lasted for 2 nights (was not dead yet). Using Alexa is good, but I will say that I’ve been running into issues with amazon music working. This is a problem with Alexa, though, and if this happens, try reinstalling the Alexa app. Sonis customer service was much more helpful that Amazon’s in resolving this, despite it not being a sonos issue. Bluetooth works great, but note that you cannot pair with other speakers in this mode. Definitely recommend!

I’m a huge fan of Sonos. Replaced all my wired hi-fi in the house with a Sonos system to streamline, simplify, and put sound in every room and area. This speaker is the usual rugged and top-of-the-line Sonos build quality, but it has some product design flaws that would not stop me for buying it again, but are extremely frustrating coming from a company that makes a great premium product. The sound is absolutely outstanding with full range and rich bass. This speaker sounds superior to the Era 100, and a pair of these on my large deck fills the area with sound without needing walls to confine and enhance. There are three major design flaws that have not been fixed in the updated version either. First, the capacity touch controls are on top, and while the speakers are weatherproof, even a light rain will trigger the controls and can easily raise the volume all the way up to 100%, causing disturbing noise and risking blowing the speaker. Second, the charging rings are not weatherproof even though the speaker is. Third, the USB-C ports on the back meant for alternative charging in power supply are not covered or protected in any way and are the single point of failure of the weatherproofing. The tiniest amount of water in there just once was enough to permanently damage and disable this port on one of my speakers, which was replaced under warranty by Sonos. The speakers are also shockingly expensive, way up into the apple price range, even more expensive than an Era 300. Really too much money, but finding them on sale as an option. That said, I would buy them again years from now when these finally wear out.

Great sound and addition to any Sonos system or a stand alone speaker. Sonos Move has a wider sound stage than the Sonos One, and base appears to be deeper and richer also. The automatic true play (sound tuning) is a nice touch. It IS a portable speaker, but on the heftier side at about 6 pounds. Its best to use and carry around the house like from room to the front or backyard. You can bring it elsewhere - just note that it’s not that light. Overall, I recommend the product if you want a solid sounding speaker to use inside your home and outside. You maximize its benifits/value and use when you have other Sonos speakers to use it with.

Excellent successor to my JBL Xtreme

I recently replaced my JBL Xtreme portable after it finally died. While pricey, I got an upgrade in sound and functionality over the JBL. Great sounding speaker with good bass response for it's size. Bass response is about on par with the JBL Xtreme. Love that it does both wifi/airplay and Bluetooth when on the go. Both modes work seamlessly with my Apple products. Love that with airplay, I can pair them up with either my pair of Sonos One's in my bedroom for that extra bass and fill in the sound more...since it's airplay, I can even pair them up with my HomePods also when in other rooms. While a bit large, it's roughly same size as the JBL, but the Move sits vertically over the horizontal footprint of the JBL, and the handle on the back of the Move makes it pretty easy to carry. The Move comes with a simple sack for transport but since the sack covers the handle, it's not very useful...I'm sure you can get a good aftermarket case for travel. But all in all very happy with the sound and functionality. Another notes is that if you were thinking about buying a pair of Sonos Ones, which I did and love that setup also, you may want to instead by just one Move as it can fill up the room with sounds with more bass than with the pair of Ones. So If you can get over the high price, definitely recommend!

Sonos Move - Solid, Dependable and Great Sound

First off, I’m a hard core loyal Sonos fan…what I didn’t expect was the ease of switching between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Great for the outdoors and a small Social Distancing get together (6’-apart) around a fire pit with some tasty beverages! It did however run out of juice after about 7.5 hours and needed to be back on the charging cradle. Next time I’ll just bring the USB-C charger instead of dragging the cradle along. The sound is fantastic (even after a surprise rain shower), and the bass accentuated the clarity of the music playing all genres at all levels. I absolutely recommend the Sonos Move, it has great sound and great fun to have at a get together.

We love our portable Sonos speaker! It’s a little heavier than other portable speakers, but the quality is unmatched! You can always rely on Sonos for providing great quality sound products, it’s all we use in our home and on the go! We have traveled with the speaker in our carry-on, in our checked bags, and as well as in the car, and have not had any issues. We highly recommend this speaker!

This speaker is awesome! It's not super light or super portable enough to take to a beach, but that's not why I bought it. I bought it so I can have great sounding music anywhere in my house, whether it be the patio, the garage, etc. and not be constrained by a power outlet. The battery lasts quite a long time and the music is very rich sounding. It's much better than the UE Boom that I had before, plus it ties in with the rest of my Sonos system. The Amazon Alexa integration works great too. My only gripe is that it's a bit pricy, but if you're already invested into the Sonos ecosystem, it's a no-brainer.

Great product. Easy to use and setup. We mostly use ours on Bluetooth. Good sound. Good battery life. A bit heavy to just take anywhere but easy enough to move around to rooms in house. This is our second unit - have not paired for stereo but looking forward to using that part of functionality.

We are coordinating this unit with the new ARC and love it. Our kitchen is 35' feet from the ARC and this unit lets us keep the sound levels at a reasonable levels. The Move sounds great and we have used it on the porch with great success. Totally happy with the speaker and the ability to create a system. App is fairly simple to use, but is so flexible it can be confusing. The web site is great, good information and lots of detail. We have activated Alexa on this unit without incident. Well pleased. In a small space it could be a good stand alone speaker.

I live the fact that this is a portable speaker with great quality sound. Ots very puncy and has some distortion at higher levels. For a mono speaker it sounds great. Battery life last about 10 hours at a decently high volume. Very heavy. Not aomething you could easily take woth you on vacation if you are flying.
