Love my MOVE Speaker! The bass on this portable speaker is NO JOKE! It's amazing! Great sound quality and range! I've taken it to family outings, sleepovers, backyard parties grills, and movie nights! Oh and, it's great for playing back movies for a movie night outdoors with friends and family! Definitely recommend!

In this market, there’s nothing better. By using AirPlay and my other Sonos One, I have great sounding music both inside and outside, simultaneously. The handle, at first, felt a little awkward, but I quickly realized it was really smart, minimalist design and feels totally secure. For extra bass, the Move sounds best when placed on the ground or in a corner. Not necessary though. WiFi and Bluetooth both work well. Easy to switch from one to another, and requires the push of a button. No issues yet. Overall, would definitely recommend.

This is a great portable speaker; I’d say it sounds every bit as good as the Sonos One. It’s a little big to carry around too much outside away from the house, but I use it in the garage, on the patio, backyard, picnics, etc. No idea how long the battery lasts, as I’ve used it all day without ever having to worry. Also, while this can be used with other Sonos speakers, which is great if you’re already invested in Sonos, this speaker works great on its own!

Fantastic sound quality and easy to use. We carry the speaker with us in camping trips and use it around the house. The ability to connect using WiFi or Bluetooth offers added flexibility. The Sonos app is awesome. I appreciate the fact that I can have all of my Sonos products in one app. The WiFi and app capability makes the speaker more autonomous - not requiring my phone to stay in close proximity to the speaker. It offers much more functionality than we will ever use.

This was an upgraded Christmas gift for my wife. We originally got her the Sonos 1 speaker for her office becuase the Move was out of stock. We exchanged it right after christmas when it came back into the store. Our son has one and she loves the ability to take it into different rooms of the house and using it on the pool deck and back patio in the summer and its long battery life. A bit pricey but a great product.

This item is a little bigger and heavier than the standard sonos 1. It can be a little slow connecting to blue tooth. This was a little expensive compared to other similar speakers. The sound sets this one apart from the rest. Loud and clear!

Great portable speaker. The Sonos system for setting it up over wifi really is very simple, as everyone says, and allows it to integrate easily with the rest of the system. Nice to carry it back and forth from inside to out (or room to room) by just grabbing it by the handle and taking it off the charging dock. Nice technical design. Heavier and larger (and more expensive) than many bluetooth speakers, but the sound is correspondingly bigger and better. Depends on what you are looking for.

Love this speaker. It works well, sounds great, fills a room, and can be taken outside. The circular charger/base thing works so well. Volume is controlled via buttons instead of the sliders on my other newer Sonos speakers, but that's a tiny nit on a great speaker.

Amazing sound quality - lows, mids, highs. Love the dual connectivity with wifi and bluetooth. It is so convenient to have the device available on wifi - I can connect to it from my phone, tablet or laptop from anywhere in the house. Portability makes it even better - I take it from the living room to the kitchen when I am cooking. Volume can be turned up high and still the music sounds fantastic. I loved this speaker so much that I bought a second one.

The speaker is really easy to setup. You will want to adjust bass and treble. The range on picking up WiFi from you router is probably 600 feet, which means I can go to neighborhood pool without having to bring my phone to connect via Bluetooth. The speaker is very loud and everything you would want in a portable speaker. Lastly, the battery life it has not gone dead on me after 8 hours of loud play so I am sure that the 11 hour time by mfg is correct. Overall great product.

If I had the chance, I would totally buy every Sonos speaker and version out there. The sound quality is amazing with rich, beautiful bass, and it's super easy to connect it to Google Home or Alexa. This system is like the boss of my house - I can control everything just by speaking. And let me tell you, the listening controls are actually really good. If you've ever had the experience of screaming at the top of your lungs to change the next song while your music is blasting, you'll totally get me. Plus, the button responses are really good too - none of that touch screen nonsense like Google. Oh, and did I mention this thing is portable? I hardly ever take it outside, but if you live in a modern suburb and try to blast this while grilling, your neighbors might not be too happy about it.

One of the best sonos product! I was thinking whether or not to get this as I still don't have a speaker that can be move from one place to another. I basically use it whenn I'm doing yard work outside the house or just playing with the dogs on the backyard. Great sturdy product with a great sound! I will recommend this to anyone who wants a portable speaker. But the weigh is definitely a thin to consider.

Sounds is great and this thing is built like a tank. Setup was extremely easy which I did from my iPhone using the Sonos app. I have used this with WiFi, Airplay 2 and Bluetooth and all work flawlessly. Trueplay calibration for EQ seems to work pretty good. Battery life for me is somewhere between 9 and 10 hours depending on the mode seems to run longer on Bluetooth. This is by far the best sounding portable speaker that I have owned.

Initially I could of went between 4 and 5 stars. The speaker sounds great and does everything I want it to do, but the price is definitely on the higher end. I could of went with several other speakers for the price, but when I factor in the "other" Sonos speakers I already have...I leaned to the 5 stars. As time goes by, I have become more and more content with this purchase cost. The ability to stay connected to the entire system while moving the "Move" from room to room or even the yard has made the price a whole lot more palatable. These are the reasons I'd recommend this speaker: super easy to connect to my other (Playbar and a pair of Sonos 0nes) Sonos speakers, it's portable-nice to be able to it move around the house on battery power, music voice control, Apple airplay, bluetooth connectivity- fun on the golf course, it comes in white( wife's choice) and automatic tune play- very handy when moving around the house.

This is the 6th SONOS component I have purchased. Sound quality is excellent. Set up is relatively easy. However, I am still not completely comfortable using all the options for "Alexa". The Move Speaker was specifically bought so my family could enjoy this in our backyard. It is heavy and is not something I would travel with. I have not tried using it in "bluetooth" mode since we have just used it in the vicinity range of our home WiFi.

Sonos is, by far, the best and most superior audio company. They have succeeded again with the Move. It is remarkably fast and simple to switch between bluetooth and normal network connectivity, and the bluetooth connectivity works better than any other bluetooth device I am ever used before. We have had no problem with connection (starting or maintaining) yet through the first ~100 hours of use. It is also extremely quick and easy to switch bluetooth between different phones or computers (although I have only used Apple iPhone/Mac, but I assume it would be flawless for other/PC as well). For in-home use, it only takes about 1 minute to re-integrate with your existing wifi/Sonos system when the Move is switched from bluetooth to network. The Move is always present in my Sonos app systems, but when it is in bluetooth mode it simply reads offline. This changes within one minute of switching the mode on the speaker, and it is quickly ready to be apart of another room, or connect to the rest of the house. Alexa works perfectly on the Move when it is on the network, just like as if it was a Sonos One. While yes, the Move is expensive, it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. I bought an Altec Lansing Superlifejacket a couple years back, mostly for its waterproof ability. The speaker was about $150-$200. Sound quality was awful, waterproof was neat, but the speaker quit after a year. The Sonos Move will likely never fail. I have had in-home Sonos products since 2012, and they are as still as incredible as new. If you can, don't waste money on 2-4 speakers over the next 5-10 years. This will be the only one you need.

Overall the Sonos Move is a nice piece to have for outside functions and whatnot. Volume is above average, stays clear at high volume, and the portability is fantastic. I think the battery life is above average, I wouldn’t say it’s the best. Obviously high volume drains it more. I would recommend the speaker, we love to use it around our campfires and I can see us using it for a long time.

I love this speaker! I’d seen it at a local restaurant in their outside seating area and it sounded great for such a small box. Powerful bass, excellent quality for both podcasts and music. Easy set up and perfect for working inside or outside, I just carry my smartphone and this speaker wherever I need to go and I’m set for hours. It cost more than I planned to spend but I have no regrets.

Pretty amazing addition to the Sonos ecosystem! The portability is huge. I can use it in my bathroom or outside. It is much bigger and heavier than I thought! Very sturdy and well protected. It auto adjusts Trueplay and the bass is pretty booming. My only criticism would be the price and the battery does not last as long as I would like. I got it on sale for $300. Definitely don't pay for $400 for it!
