I wanted to be able to play music throughout my new house and easily control which rooms, volume, songs etc. - but I did not want to have to hire anyone to come in and run wires and speakers to every room. I researched wireless speakers and discovered Sonos. Long story short - I have now invested in several Sonos products and love being able to play music wherever and however I want anywhere in my house our outside - just through an app on my phone. And the sound quality is awesome.

Truth be told, my old one is better. This model is less responsive to voice control. Alexa fails quite often but works on the other unit, so I know it's not the app. The sound quality is just as fantastic as my other Sonos, no secret there. However, I wouldn't buy another one for the price, it's not worth it.

The Sonos One is particularly nice since it has the Alexa functionality built into it. I have Sonos speakers in every room in the house. They are expensive, but they are worth it.

Sometimes it goes completely crazy and changes songs every 30 seconds. I never had this problem when streaming Pandora through a wired system. Alexa is crazy and will interrupt and conversation even when no one says her name. I preferred the sound quality on my old sony surround sound system. I keep adding speaker to the system hoping the glitches will improve and the sound will get better but ultimately NOT happy with my new Sonos set up. Neither are any of my friends who made the same mistake. Oh not to mention whenI got a new router I had to completely reset up all 6 units by unplugging them and then plugging them directly into the router in order for them to reconnect. LAME

It looks like a minor dent as if it was dropped. I don’t have the energy to return. It works fine but I’d like to receive a $25 store credit.

While bose has deeper bass, the sonos app and connectivity is much easier to use. So much happier with my decision to switch.

I have some issues with them dropping out of my Sonos app, but that's more a fault of my wifi network (I'm working on it) then the speakers. I'm looking forward to setting them up as surrounds with a new Sonos Playbar.
