The Sonos One is particularly nice since it has the Alexa functionality built into it. I have Sonos speakers in every room in the house. They are expensive, but they are worth it.

Sometimes it goes completely crazy and changes songs every 30 seconds. I never had this problem when streaming Pandora through a wired system. Alexa is crazy and will interrupt and conversation even when no one says her name. I preferred the sound quality on my old sony surround sound system. I keep adding speaker to the system hoping the glitches will improve and the sound will get better but ultimately NOT happy with my new Sonos set up. Neither are any of my friends who made the same mistake. Oh not to mention whenI got a new router I had to completely reset up all 6 units by unplugging them and then plugging them directly into the router in order for them to reconnect. LAME

I have some issues with them dropping out of my Sonos app, but that's more a fault of my wifi network (I'm working on it) then the speakers. I'm looking forward to setting them up as surrounds with a new Sonos Playbar.

This is our house traveler, set up where ever we may need to on ad-hoc basis. Signs on after a few seconds after being plugged in, so nice.

I hear a lot of good things about it, which after purchasing this product, realized that they have a better marketing team than they do a product. Keep in mind, this product would work great for most people and depends on your listening profile. Some listeners like crystal clear audio. Some like a heavy bass profile. Some don't know what that means. Some pretend like they know what that means. Overall, the SONOS is very clear, but it's all mid and treble. Very tone-y sound without much bass. I prefer a pretty bass heavy/balanced sound profile. As a standalone speaker, don't buy this. Get an Amazon Echo Premium or even better, the Echo Studio. You'll be blown away with the sound. Call me crazy. It's a better overall balanced sound for a home speaker. Now, if you went all out and purchase a full SONOS setup, INCLUDING a woofer to bring out the low end, this would sound a little better than the Amazon lineup. Depends on your budget.

Posted .Thanks for taking the time to provide us with a review of the Sonos One. We strive to provide, clear and room filling sound even out of our smallest speaker in our line up. You may find that you improve your sound by performing the Trueplay tuning that is prompted in the app which tunes the speaker to your specific room. Additionally, you can adjust the bass from within the Sonos app to push a more bass heavy sound profile.
