Sonos One (Gen 2) speaker

But, before we opened this one we decided that we wanted something more mobile so we brought it back and upgraded to the Sonos Move Speaker (even though it was almost twice the price). If you want great sound and don't mind having to keep it plugged in this is a great speaker for the price.

Amazon Echo has better sound. The user/app interface is cumbersome. Nice is that you can select if you want Alexa or Google Home as your assistant. However, you can only pick one at a time.

My Sonos system, now numbering 13 speakers comprised of all speaker series , provides the perfect medium to enjoy ideal sound delivery for whatever is playing at the time. I'm neither an audiophile nor technically gifted; that being said, I would recommend the Sonos speaker inventory for an affordable, yet responsive audio solution. It's easy to set up, and for me that's a real plus. Their technical support is also responsive and the option of using an iPhone ,iPad, or laptop app to control the whole shebang is a welcome amenity.
