Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the One (Gen 2) Smart Speaker's sound quality, ease of use, and compact size, with many praising its setup process and bass response. However, customers are negative about the lack of Bluetooth connectivity and some inconsistencies with the voice assistant and app functionality. The price point also received mixed reviews, with some finding it a bit high. Overall, the speaker's audio performance is a major selling point, though some features require improvement.

The fidelity of the speaker is great. I having issues with software to hook to Amazon and other services. Their customer support by telephone is not very good thus far.

This was my most disappointing purchase of the year. I don’t know why Sonos is/was so popular. The app is clunky and everything has to run through it. How does this speaker not have Bluetooth??!?! It’s also not portable and costs as much as the Bose Portable Home Speaker that has all the same functionality but with Bluetooth, can be moved around, is louder, and sounds better. What am I missing here? Whatever it is, it doesn’t matter anymore because I returned this and bought the Bose.

I own the full Sonos tv sound system (2-sonos one, sub & beam) I quickly notice connection issues after install so I added a Sonos Boost and it’s good now, however the Airplay integration looses connection all the time. I added this 3rd. Sonos One for my garage, which is under my router and connection issue galore!!!! Returned and purchased a Sony Bluetooth for the garage instead and no issues at all. Sonos come on guys!! Step up and fix your issues.

Don’t bother. Stay with Bose or Marshall.

Seriously disappointing. I am usually a Bose and Marshall person and decided to try Sonos. This thing will barely power up. The power cord doesn’t sit flush so it’s at an angle and easily powers off. Worst yet, forget about connecting and connectivity. After spending half an hour struggling, resetting and having different people try on their phones through the app, we all finally gave up. Returning this junk and going back to Bose and Marshall. May not be as sexy but at least it works. Devialet if you can swing it.

Not bad. But mediocre integration with Alexa. They should have Echo Show app. Built-in Sonos assistant is 80s style

Quality of the speaker is superb. But the Alexa feature, that you pay extra to get, does not have full Alexa functionality, and doesnt work all that great.

I love sonos for playing music with less compression, i always use the wifi setup as opposed to blue teeth, but this one speaker cuts out more often than id like when ive grouped them. Other than that its fan freakin tastic

Wanted to get some wireless speakers. Tried these. It's a good enough speaker, but the value proposition is wrong. You have to use their software, you can't just hook it up to Bluetooth, and while the sound is ok, it's just... well... ok. They in no way compare to the Edifier s1000 for a chunk less money, which sound... just heavenly. Dont' get me wrong, Sonos puts out a solid product. They just need more competition to make them increase the value for the premium they charge, or lower their price.
