Maybe this Sonos product is geared toward music other than rock music.

The Sonos One is designed to sound great across all types of music, but you can improve that sound quality by running the Trueplay process that is prompted during set up. If you skipped that process check your settings for the room and select the option to run Trueplay. If the music sounded distorted or skipped, this could be a network issue so check your WiFi speed. You can contact Sonos Customer Experience in several ways that are outlined at sonos.com/support to make sure your speaker is functioning as it should be!

They sound only a little better than your $20 PC speakers or a $25 Google mini. You will be better off if you spend a little more and get the Sonos Five which are awesome.
