    I bought this Speaker over a month ago and havn't been able to get google assistant to work right yet. When requesting a music alarm it says it can't do that right now. Sometime the volume will be up way to loud for no reason, and it is pretty warm to the touch when just sitting on the dresser doing nothing so I wonder how much electricity it uses daily. Best Buy won't let me return neither will Sonos and I've spent way to much time on phone with tech support for a product that is $219 and brand new...had these problems right out of the box.

    Think twice when buying an open box version of a product. Longtime fan of Sonos products, thought I got a deal in buying an open box refurb from Best Buy. Wrong. Product came in good physical condition but had to figure out everything else as it hadn’t been reset and spent an hour trying to connect it. Finally sort that out to find that the bass is severely distorted and now going to return it. Don’t sell refurbs if you haven’t, you know, refurbed it?

    Sonos are incredible devices that are intuitive to setup and sound amazing for years! I use Sonos for my tv and music for cooking/entertaining. I just love them!

    Don’t buy more than 2 or 3. They suck when trying to use whole house. Fix it Sonos!!! Call them and they will say your network. Bought their boost said would help. Bought best WiFi mesh system. Spend hours on phone with them. Still sucks. Not them. Your network they will say. Just save your self aggravation and don’t buy from them.

    This speaker is garbage! I have purchased several smart speakers and never had trouble. This onee will not connect. Have you changing router settings screwing up all your internet and other smart devices for nothing! After you purchase you cannot reach customer care. Sonos knows this is a common problem so why correct your software??

    Best Addition to the Sonos System!

    I looked and researched and tested many systems. I was fortunate to find an open box Sonos Playbase and Sun. The sound is amazing and the set up was easy. Today, I found an open box Sonos –One (Gen2). The set up is flawless, and Alexa works like a charm. I was able to connect it to my Apple Music without any issues. It sounds amazing but self, and adds to the dynamic sound of the Sonos base and sub!

    Owned many Sonos products over the years and this is the only one that did not work. I’m very familiar with how to operated sonos products. Bought it open box from Best Buy and very disappointed that Best Buy sold it saying it was in perfect condition

    I like Sonos and it worked for a month and stopped working and when I tried to returned it at Best Buy they said it was too late . So I’m stuck with a broken speaker . I just wanted to return it to get another one.

    I hate when i get used stuff went to the Rockville store got me a speaker and its used like come on i work so hard for my money and you gonna sell me a used speaker…i went to pick it up just stressing….

    This is a garbage speaker. The sonos app is limited and you can’t connect anything to these speakers. Hope this crap company goes out of business

      Hi Matt, thank you for your review. We're sorry you had this experience with your speaker. The Sonos One speaker connects with the Sonos app using the WiFi in your home. When using the Sonos app, the app can connect to over 100 music services as well as its capability to use Airplay 2 which can play any content from an Apple phone, tablet, or computer. If Bluetooth connectivity is a better option for you, I would recommend the Sonos Roam or Sonos Move. Both units connect via Wifi in your home but also provide a Bluetooth connection if that is preferred.     By far, one of the best purchases I've ever made for my house. I bought these so that I can not only use them in my office at the house, but also take them outside, in the backyard while hanging out. The wifi range is fantastic! When they are in my backyard, I hang them on my back fence, which is about 30 feet away from the nearest wifi hub inside my brick house. What prompted me to write this review is the fact that this past weekend, we had them in the backyard. Well, I accidentally left them outside, and the next day we had a solid 12 hours of a hard Texas thunderstorm. We must've gotten about 4 inches of rain. I went out there, brought them inside, dried them off, and waited a few hours. I crossed my fingers, plugged them in, and they still worked like the first day I bought them. They are definitely NOT outside speakers, and I don't recommend leaving them outside in the elements (especially thunderstorms)...but I am super pleased with the durability of these things...The sound is also fantastic when you pair two together. You won't regret buying a pair of these!

    Stay away from Sonos!! The product of you have older Sonos sucks! This company will not help you and having multiple speakers of different years will mess up! Stay away from this product!!
