The PlayOne is a great speaker when paired with the Sound Bar and Sub as a Surround System. On it's own there is a lot to be desired when bluetooth speakers for the same price sound better. Built in Alexa is a plus.

For a little speaker delivers very good sound. However, when playing downloaded music from iTunes and my downloaded CD's it skips in middle of song or stops completely.

I was ready to buy a pair of the original HomePods only to learn that they had been cancelled. Consequently a pair of Sonos Ones became plan B. One star off because, from an Audiophile perspective, the Sonos Ones are just meh. I didn't have any interest in the smart/connected features other than wireless WiFi streaming from my computer/phone. I typically use the speakers at low volume in a studio apartment so my sound evaluation only covers my use case. The mids are heavy and always present, but the highs and base are a little light. Adjusting the base to nearly max is needed to bring it to an even level with the mids, and the base is never full enough to feel it. As a single mono speaker the soundstage is front and narrow without much presence. Adding a second speaker in a stereo pair greatly improves both. In addition to the stereo pair, I added a B&O M5 in a 2.1 configuration to for some thumping base, crystal highs, and some much needed brightness. The three play perfectly in sync using Airplay, but neither Sonos nor B&O will interoperate with the other, so the 2.1 solution is only available using Airplay. As many have written, the Sonos software is easy to use and set-up, but the MacOS app is very simplistic and severely lacking. However, the phone app is full featured and really the only viable option in my opinion. At this price level I think these speakers are a good value, but left me wanting better sound.

It’s okay you can only AirPlay it. It’s not connected through Bluetooth and sometime it disconnect itself. Not really worth the money.

We put two in our bedroom (great stereo linkage) and one in four other rooms for whole house found. Added an Arc sound bar with sub woofer in our family room too. Not cheap but great value and amazing sound.

It's optional to get a speaker with Alexa, I'm glad I got one so the entire system is voice-activated.

Speaker is great weather you have it as rears for surround sound or you have it by itself to play music

I love these wireless speakers. I can’t believe I waited so long to upgrade my old, wired surround sound system to these wireless and portable home speakers. I intend to purchase more for other rooms of the house. I use them every day!

Sonos was very easy to set up. If you want to have a full play list you will need yo have subsccription to a music streaming service. Hey Google works everytime for any question. Its sllek looking and sit on my desk. Go get one

Same great speaker with the added alexa bonus. Easy set up. Just wish you could drop in or make announcements like you do with alexa devices.
