We already had a Sonos system in our house so this was an easy add on. It plugged right in and the system recognized it. Out of the box to playing took about 5 minutes. The speaker sounds great and takes up very little space.

I love the Sonos speaker. It is small, but the sound is fantastic. It operates on Wifi so I can take it to any power outlet in my condo and listen to the music or radio station I play from Spotify. I also own a vacation property. I am going to buy another for it.

my only complaint is that I waited so long to purchase them. Don't let the price scare you they are worth every penny...not to name name but they put Bose to shame as far as sound and the ability to use them anywhere ...could go on but you get the point.

Sounds great for such a small speaker. However, it should have an input for plug and play. Don't always have the Sonos wireless avaialable.

I like my play 1 speakers, but I was not too happy that when I originally purchased just one of these speakers to add to my sonos system it would not work on its on. In order for the play 1 speaker to work uou must purchase two or more!

I have put off getting a Sonos system for quite some time, but finally took the plunge and am so glad I did! We love the quality, ease of use, dependability, and the great array of music - from our own collection as well as streaming services. I couldn't be happier with this product!

I currently have 7 Sonos zones in my home and added this for my workshop area. Excellent sound from a single speaker...but plan to add a second down the road for true stereo. No hassle connection to my existing Sonos network and use the Sonos app on my phone to control everything.

For such a small size, the Play 1 gives out a great sound.

Purchased to allow payback in the basement for a Halloween party. I had the older sonos hub and was worried that it would not connect in the basement. However to my surprise the speakers worked flawlessly. Expensive but good product.

This was an additional speaker to my existing 3. Great sound and easy to use.

I love Sonos, and was happy to see a smaller format speaker for small rooms or to just round off the sound in a room. The sound is great and it fits right into the book shelf or in my case the kitchen without taking up too much space. Its a perfect addition to a series of great products.

The only problem I have found so far is the speakers do not turn off. The only other thing is that it does not play videos that I have found if there is a way for it to play videos I have not found it. The system is awesome the sound is great

The PLAY1 is a great addition to the PLAY5 that we use in our kitchen We placed this one in our Master Bedroom and it fills the room with great music whenever called upon. It was an easy add onto the existing system and the apps ability to show multiple rooms at once is a great feature!

Wireless is the way to go! Great price for the incredible sound it delivers. We will be purchasing another speaker soon, so we can have more of a stereo sound. It was not difficult to set up. Having the ability to move it from room to room is a great feature. Really enjoying the system.

The best speakers I have ever had. Strongly recommend.

We have 7 Sonos speakers. We use them as alarms in the morning, throughout the house during the day and especially enjoy hearing new music another family member likes. Mom wakes up to a streaming Billy Joel or similar station and has a Five Finger Death Punch station jacked up loud in the work out room. Son is going through an awkward rap stage which thankfully is limited to his bedroom sonos. Kids time shower lengths to song lengths from bathroom Sonos. Daughter plays a mean air guitar (on a wooden spoon) to multiple tunes in the kitchen between putting cookies in the oven. Meal time kitchen to dining room to living room sounds seamlessly follows and syncs as if we are wearing earphones from room to room. Sometimes we sync all together - sometimes we have multiple different. Sounds quality, syncing and just overall fun - cannot beat Sonos!
