This is my 8th Sonos purchase and I could not be more pleased. I have 4 play ones and they are awesome. I use them in rooms that are not main ones and in my master bath. The sound is awesome and I will say between the play one, play three and play 5. I like the play one the best. The play bar and sub excluded in the above mentioned group. When you pair all of them and play music throughout the house it sounds amazing. Love Sonos and the only thing they need to do is add outdoor speakers. I take a play one outside but it would be nice not to have to bring one in and out all the time. I know I can use the connect amp and make other speakers work with the system as I do that now just wish I did not have the extra step.

The sound quality is high, the setup is easy, the ability to control from any device or computer is incredible. My wife, who finds some technology hard to use, is able to use this system with ease. The whole Sonos system is amazing!

Same as a white speaker. Was torn between this and a Play3. Ended up getting this. Very good bass. Does not need bridge to work since the speakers connect to Wifi directly. Easy to setup. Good selection of audio channels via app.

The sounds that come from this smallish speaker are amazing.

Great sounding speaker that can be moved from room to room, or to different spots within one. Not our first, nor will it be our last.

No fuss setup, sync with additional speakers. Sounds amazing!!! I love that they are set up through wifi and not bluetooth. No issues with distance and all that. LOVE THIS SYSTEM!

Great for Just Getting into Sonos or a Seasoned Sonos listener. The size is great for the sound that comes out of it. It is a great portable speaker with a WiFi network. Better than a Bluetooth speaker as you can have multiple music services available without having to use a computer, tablet or phone to stream to the speaker and can be used as a stand alone music device. Can't wait for Amazon Echo/Alexa integration in 2017.

This Sonos Play 1 is the perfect addition to my whole house audio system. Seamless connectivity and GREAT sound! The music services supported by Sonos is an absolute seamless transition to great sounding music!

The sound on these things are amazing,and its all wireless.

I hate that these are so expensive. But once I get it home I again realize you get what you pay for. Easy set up and use with outstanding sound quality from wireless speaker

4.3/5 Fantastic sound quality for $150. You can easily build on this single speaker to create a more expansive home audio system by purchasing more speakers and a sound bar. You have to use the Sonos App to play content which I wasn’t thrilled about at first, but I’ve gotten used to it. Only other thing I don’t love about this speaker is that you cannot connect it with a tv. The only was to do this is to purchase a sound bar which connects to your tv and in turn, connects to the Play:1. If you want a reasonably priced speaker with superior sound quality to play music or podcasts from your phone or tablet, look no further.

I reviewed the larger speaker elsewhere. Everything I said about the larger version holds true for this one and more. Outstanding sound quality even for the tiny size. I have all sizes of Sonos and I'm not sure anyone really needs the larger ones. The small speaker has a rich, high quality range with no echo or reverb (which is a huge problem for me.) The Sonos calibration feature puts it head and shoulders above the rest. The app plays well with all music apps and platforms which is also critical. I run these over wifi and have no issues with dropping signal. I was going to go with Helios just to save a few dollars but I'm glad I didn't as I've now read those speakers have trouble if the wifi signal isn't the best.

I have a play 5 & they sound great going from room to room.

I purchased a pair of these for the rear channel of my Sonos setup. They are remarkable for that! Pair them with the Sonos Sub and Soundbar and you'll have a great sounding system!! Easy to setup and wireless.

Easy to setup and sounds GREAT! We currently have 2 rooms with these speakers and each room can have different music. All wireless and works with no problems. A good Wifi network is a big plus.....

Love the sonos system, easy to set up and great customer service if you hit problems. Sounds is good and auto tune feature (where it helps adjust the sound to best suit the room speaker is in) is useful.

We have Sonos speakers throughout our home. The Play 1 is small but has great sound and fills a small room exceptionally well. I am sure these would be very good to as rear speakers in surround sound system.
