Sound is great. Mostly used to replace the original speaker within a large antique radio. Very easy to setup and move around the house as needed.

I have 3 Sonos Play 1’s around my home. For the size, they produce a full sound that you’d expect from larger components. And because of their size, they can be placed practically anywhere.

Easy to operate, great sound from a single speaker. This works great for me. The sonos app on my phone is easy to use. I don't need voice activation to enjoy this speaker.

I keep adding speakers to my home because it's such a great system. I think the Play 1 sounds as good as the Play 3. I am up to 7 speakers total now because of how great and easy this system is to set up.

This was my 4th purchase of a speaker. I have the Sonos soundbar, 2 player 3s and a 5. This one was for use in the bedroom and has not disappointed. Sound quality is superb! East to install and operate.

No need to waste your time with any other multi-room home systems. This provides ample sound for a small room. For more base and large rooms, simply upgrade to the larger units.

I am not an expert on sound systems, but these little speakers push out a lot sound & I think they sound great!! So easy to set up this entire system. You can add speakers as you can afford them anywhere in the house.

Great sound, easy to hook up to existing Sonos system

bought 2 play 1's to add to a sound bar, already had a play 1 in a different room. read reviews and agree that the 2 play 1's with a sound bar is a great set-up for movies and music. pleased.

If you are looking for a great sound system that is wireless, this is the product to buy. The set up was incredibly easy and it has superb sound. We bought this for our business and will eventually buy a set for our home.

My son recommended Sonos and I am glad he did. It is easy to set up and use. I can access the system from my android phone or my iPad. since my original purchase I have added another' speaker and plan to add two more.

Tried to fight the urge to simplify my audio setup and always justified it by the fact that most options offer poor sound quality and/or poorly designed control apps. Well, someone finally created a speaker that manages to sound great and has invested equally in the quality of the app that runs everything. The best part of switching to Sonos is that you are able to build and modify your setup based upon current budget and needs. I highly suggest pairing two Play:1 speakers before investing in the larger/ more expensive speakers that Sonos offers. I own all three sizes and find that the placement options of two Play:1s in stereo pair provide the best sound.
