It sounds way better than bose. The teens dance , and clean the house because it makes them happy to hear such great sound quality of music. They just get a burst of happy energy. I guess great sound means you just can't sit still. You have to get up and do something while blasting the music.

If you aren't sure about SONOS, this is a great place to start. The speaker offers great sound quality (a bit shy in the bass range), and gets the ball rolling with sound in every room, controlled by a single system (SONOS). The software interface is available for all platforms and connects to most music streaming services.

I know I'm late to the party on Sonos, but these speakers are awesome. They are well balanced and stylish to boot. I've got the whole house set up and can run different audio to each or group speakers together. It's pretty sweet. A couple things would be better. 1. These are not battery powered so they have to be plugged in at all times. 2. They are not rated for outdoor use. 3. No Alexa integration (and limited integration in general) Ultimately I love the sound these speakers provide and the functionality they have for managing audio, just some wish list items!

This just works, does what it's supposed to do. We have it setup on all of our phones, tablets, Chromebook, MacBook. Great sound. We used it for our Christmas party to have some nice music in the background and got a lot of compliments on it. My mother decided she wants one for her birthday.

Replaced the whole home theater. Love being able to set surround differently for TV and music AND being able to change the settings using my iPhone as I’m listening! Rich, warm tone, no tinny crap like the old days. I feel like I’m hearing my favorites for the first time again.

Excellent build and sound quality, very slick software/interface making set-up and use as easy as possible. My only gripe or drawback would be that you can't use Spotify free service to stream through Sonos, requires that you upgrade to the pay/premium Spotify service. Otherwise great purchase!

Don't listen to music and podcasts with headphones when you're at home. That's just weird. Instead, listen through your SONOS speaker! The iPhone app is decent, and there's an OS X one as well so you have options for playing content. Easy to set up and lots of fun for children and puppies.

Sonos wireless products are the best home audio I have ever owned. I own the sound bar, the sub and now I bought rwo play 1 speakers and it sounds like a theater in my living room. They are incredible and for the price they seem expensive but if you buy it in 3 separate purchases it really is not bad.

Setup very simple and easy using the app. We use it with Amazon Music and Pandora and it's flawless. The sound was a little off, but was able to adjust using the settings and now it sounds great. Currently it's basically in the corner of our kitchen, and my wife uses it everyday and loves it.

What a great little speaker. It’s true what they say. Once you get one, you’ll want more. Great easy setup. Sound quality is great. Don’t get this confused with the sound of a traditional wired system, but it still sounds great for Wi-Fi.

I really love my Sonos system with the Play:1s as the surround speakers. I have recommended to family and friends.

I love my entire Sonos system. I have two Play:1s, a Play:3, the Playbar and the Sub. I won't stop until I have one in every room. I love being able to walk through the house and hear the same music everywhere. Yet I still have the flexibility to listen to different music in each room.

Have tried 5 different Soundbar/Surround Speaker systems over the last 7 years and this one, for it's price range, is by far the best. Easy set-up, easily controlled via App, and superior surround sound! HAve 5.1 Surround with 2 of these coupled with Sonos Sub & Soundbar

Sound is great. Setup is easy whether using alone or multiple Sonos speakers. I have 3 configured in different rooms around my house and it is awesome to be able to move from room to room and have continuous music at the same volume. Not having to run wires to accomplish this is priceless.

I bought two to complete my TV sound plans. Already have the Sonos playbar and sub, which together made a huge difference to my enjoyment of our now eight year old 55" Panasonic Plasma TV. Now with the addition of the Play 1s, the sound truly fills the room. So glad I finally completed the set!

Have a complete system consisting of bridge, two pairs of Sonos 5 and added a pair of Sonos 1 for the guest room.

Capability to play different songs in different areas of the house at the same time... Sound quality is on par... Got a playbase for the bedroom TV and a playbar for the living room with a sub and two play 1. Got a play 3 for the teenagers room and a play 5 for the patio... loving life....

easy set up , great value , move them around rooms

We have bought several Play 1 Speakers for rooms outside the main living room so we can hear the TV or music as we wish. Its great that we can link the rooms together or play separate. The sound is great with the single speaker. I have even taken outside on deck when laying out for music. All around mobile and great!

We just downsized to a condo, and one Sonos speaker is all we need for great sound without taking up any space. The app is so easy to access music library from cell phone. We are very happy with it, and gave them as gifts last Christmas. Everyone was thrilled!
