I bought this to see how works with the wifi in the house and it works amazing. sound incredible the only setback is the price. Overall great speaker.

It's amazing how loud and clear these little speakers can get! This is an additional unit to add to 4 other Sonos's (Sonosi?) that we have in the apartment! Really recommend it - and if like me, you don't want a smart speaker spying on you, this is a great option!

Continue to add and enjoy sonos speakers to my office and home system! Just a quality product.

I could not be as happy as I am with this products. The sound coming out of these speakers is so clear that I really enjoy my music. Next step I am going to tray the next up speaker even that it is more expensive but I am curious what can be better than this. Highly recommended!!!!

These little speakers are on steroids! Good quality sound! Easy Setup and operation. Balances out our experience, compliments subwoofer and playbar!

The sonos is a good affordable home wirless audio system. It offers superb sound quality at a decent price. Where it lacks is in its user interface(UI). First lets talk about the nice features. The sound quality isn't just good but its impressive. The sound quality sounded as good as some of the really high end speakers and the range is really good. You can unplug the speaker and move it to any room without having to resync everytime. The sound reverberated so good off the walls that it actually sounded like i had more speakers then one. And for some reason if the one speaker isnt enough for you the sonos one allows you to link up multiple sonos speakers including a bass for those hard hitting songs. Now heres what kills it for me. First off the sonos does not hook up to Bluetooth in the normal way, in fact it doesnt hook up at all. It requires you to link your sonos and smartphone or other such device to link up through a common wifi. This means your sonos needs a wifi device with good range. If your wifi is up stairs and the sonos is in the basement you better hope you have a strong signal or you'll get drops. Second you have to use there app and software to play your music. There app is ok but glitches out alot or at least it did for me. I have to use sonos program to access my music and couldnt use my own mp3 program. Some songs would play while others wouldnt. When i first bought the sonos one the sonos app was having problems and was down for a day and since you have to use the sonos app to play music i could not use my newly purchased sonos until the next day. If i could do it over even though the sound quality is good, i would purchase a more expensive speaker that hooks up directly through bluetooth and not have to rely on a seperate program to run the system

It's a great sounding system with no wires to run. Each office in my business can listen to their favorite music using one sound system. I did have to call in for help to get the "bridge" to find the speaker. It didn't take long for the tech to find the problem and get the system to add in the additional speaker.

It sounds great and we love the fact it's portable so we can move it to another room until we expand our system with more speakers.

I purchased four Sonos Play 1 speakers for my home. I would have given them five stars, but I had some issues connecting them to my Wi-Fi network and had to call customer care twice for help. The technicians were very knowledgeable and helpful. Once the set-up was complete, they sound great. I set up two in a stereo configuration in our game room and two in stereo configuration in our family room. It takes a bit of getting familiar with the app, but now I can stream iTunes, Spotify and Pandora from my iphone.

I wrote a more thorough review of the Sonos "Five" previously. This device was part of the system purchase.

I started with the Bose counterpart but they would not work on the home wifi saying it was too weak. Swapped out the Sonos and had no issues whatsoever, and I like all the app choices much better anyway! Great sound and accessibility. I do hope they get the Audible app back soon though.

Very versatile. Would like it to work with Audible, but lots of other sources are available.

I bought this play:1 to test drive SONOS for a new house we are building. It was so simple to setup and upload all the songs on my computer. The sound is great, this one speaker fills the whole kitchen. I am planning to utilize SONOS for whole house audio in our new house.

We love our new Sonos speaker! It was easy to set up and sounds great, as to be expected from Sonos. The only disappointment was that we coudn’t set it up as a stereo pair with an older Play 1, so it means that another upgraded speaker is in our future plans.

I have three sonos play 1 now and I absolutely love them. I have them on each bedroom. I also have the sound bar for the tv and the play 5 for the bigger space great room. You cannot go wrong with these play 1s for the price and the sound they put out. You will not regret.

We LOVE our Sonos sound system. The sound quality is so crisp and clean, with great stereo effect. We recently bought the sound bar, woofer and 2 speakers. This latest purchase was an additional speaker, which enhanced the sound quality nicely. Will get more speakers in the future,no doubt

Sounds pretty good for the size. The only thing I don't like is that you can't stream directly from Spotify or Airplay to the speaker, you have to use the Sonos App. Tried a second one as a stereo pair but it's not worth the expense, rather get the Play 3 for $50 less...

Good sound, affordable price. Small size makes it convenient for small spaces. It tends to disconnect, you have to reset the speaker often.

Took a while to get this connected to my WiFi and then figure out how to let Alexa play sound through it. Kind of disappointed that I have to tell Alexa to play music 'on Sonos'. Definitely watch the videos on Sonos site first. Sounds good, with less bass than a Bose Soundlink which was too heavy on the bass. I was tired of having to turn on the bluetooth Soundlink to listen to music and even get Alexa to talk back. WiFi is the way to go. Hopefully they can figure out how to make the connection between Alexa and the Sonos full time.
