I purchased two of these under the belief I could use them in conjunction with my home stereo. Not so, they are a separate streaming system of their own. So in the end I did not get what I wanted. I blame the Best Buy salesman for not listening to the customer. Maybe I would recommend this to a friend? Initially I was impressed, but I took one of the speakers out of the system, and attempted to set it up at my sisters small home. It would not connect to her Wi-Fi. Then when I got the speaker back home. I have not be able to get it back on-line at the home network again.

Sonos has completed my sound system with an integrative methodology that make WiFi somewhat seamless. The proprietary technology allows any household to appreciate excellent sound in a variety of rooms without wires.

I have bought 4 Play 1s...so far. They are very simple to connect and sound better than I expected. I very much like how we can migrate the sound around the house.

Love my Sonos! I have Play 1s and play3 throughout my house (along with very expensive Klipsh wired speakers ). It's easy set up and very reliable with Sonos ! Worth every cent (but I buy mine at xmas on sale) ...wish they had outdoor speakers !!

I love the Sonos system and finally completed my Sonos theater by buying the play 1's for a complete surround sound. I love how I can switch to watching a movie to playing music. The play 1's have a great sound and especially for being wireless.

I purchased this Sonos for my baby's bedroom. Its perfect for music before bed.

Surprisingly good sound out of this little speaker. I got it at the same time as a Connect that I put near my router. This speaker gets good signal throughout the house. We move it around for now. We'll likely add more Sonos speakers as time goes on.

I love the convenience that the sonos system offers. The sound quality is great for what it's designed to be. It won't replace my dedicated sound room, but being able to play music in every room of my home was worth the price of admission.

If you love music, you need sonos! It can see your iTunes, it can see all your mp3s, it can pick up radio stations from all over the world. It’s seriously fun! I can control it from my phone and it’s loud and clear!!

i know that sonos is expensive but the speaker is worth it. i use it for a office speaker while i work. perfect for a small office and the speaker can really blast. will for sure look into other products from sonos for the rest of my house.

I would reccomend this over similar products from competitors. First off the sound was incredible. It also had styling and functionality that other speakers in its class did not.

Bought this the day it came out. I have a playbar and wanted something for the bed room. I haven't turned up over half as it is so clear and powerful it fills the room

Sonos play 1 is a great product. You can listen to your personal music library, make a station from pretty much any song, composer, cd or singer there is. Accessible from all devices, this sonos is an amazing all around product. I would definitely recommend buying it.

This was an addition to our existing Sonos system. I placed two Sonos 1 speakers in our outdoor BBQ island and they sound just as amazing out there as they do inside the house. Sonos is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned

I bought this as an extension of my Play 5. I found that the sound was so full that I could use it anywhere. I have a second home and planned to take my Play 5 back andf forth but the sound is so good and the unit so light that I will take this back and forth instead

Sounds great in corners. We have one in the office, hallway, master bathroom and I continue to buy them as I can. We have the whole house going with a play bar and play base. Wonderful product with an app that continues to evolve.

I'm still and the newbie stage of using the Sonos wireless system, but so far, it's working pretty well. I still have a set of non-Sonos speakers to connect to the system, and if it works as well as Sonos advertises, I'll be very happy with the Sonos wireless system.

I bought 2 play 1's with the sound bar and the sub. The sound from this system is great. Completely changes the way you watch TV and movies. There are definitely cheaper options out there, but I think the system is worth spending the extra money.
