Play 1 build quality is very good with attention to detail. Compact in size it's great for bedrooms, offices, kitchens, or home gyms. I often use them as a portable speaker to be moved around the house as needed wherever there is an outlet. Sonos software is what you are buying into. All your music and easy to use. We recommend to all our clients. You will love it.

This compact speaker fills up a room quite nicely. I have 2 that I use as surround speakers in my living room and one in my quest bedroom. If you are going for more bass go with the Play 5. I own one of those as well.The Play One sounds good playing any genre if music. Even playing nature sounds from Spotify to go to sleep. No complaints from me!

The SONOS system cannot be beat. Have enjoyed every aspect of its installation and use right from the start. Has literally filled our house with music.

I was going between Bose or Sonos and sonos won with the versatility they offer. They are a great set up and easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.

I was familiar with the Sonos speaker because my trainer has a pair of them to provide music in his fitness center. When my wife and I needed a compact, high quality speaker for the living/dining area of our new home, it was the first option we considered. It is great, no matter where we have the volume. It was also exceptionally easy to set up and link with my i-phone.

This is the least expensive of the Sonos speakers but it sounds as good to me as the Sonos play 2 that I have. The speaker is weather resistant and I use it on my deck however it is not weather proof so I have to make sure it is inside during bad weather. However it is small and all I have to do is unplug it and bring it in. I am very happy with it so far. It set up as soon as I plugged it in.

I have been enjoying Sonos Speakers for the past 2 years. This speaker was my latest addition. The speakers have great sound, wireless and very portable.

I have 2 of these and a Sonos One and the review would really apply to them all. The sound quality is great. I have 2 of these in my living room as a stereo pair so I can listen to music without the whole surround sound system and they fill the room pretty well. Very balanced sound, plenty of bass without overkill. My only criticism is the app is not the best. I have had issues connecting it to music services at times so I. hope they can fix that. Only other thing to bear in mind is that if you use Apple Airplay you can not use it directly with the Sonos Play1 you will need at least 1 Sonos One to make it work

Great product. Easy to set up and sounds fantastic. Adds to my other Sonos speakers, but even as a stand alone it puts out great sound.

I just purchased a Play 1 to go with my Play 5 that I purchased a year or so ago. They may be cost a bit more but well worth the money.

Awesome sound and easy phone hookup through Bluetooth. Bought it for my wife for Christmas and everyone loved it at New Years when we had people over.

The Sonos Play One is a great addition to your Sonos system. Perfect for poolside, spare bedroom or garage. Also, great as a pair for rear surrounds.

Don't let the price tags scare you away from the Sonos systems. They are worth every penny. Easy setup, simple control, great interface (phone or computer), and sound great too! To recreate what this system could do using standard components and the install required...you would easily exceed the costs associated with these Sonos units. I keep going back and adding rooms to my system...!

I'm listening to the Sonos system right now and it is wonderful. It was easy to get working and far better than another wireless system I tried previously.

I would definitely recommend these speakers. Sound cannot be beat and is truly awesome. If you want a great wirless speaker, then this is the one to buy.

Super easy to install! Great sound. Wish it could sync to the tv without requiring $699 soundboard purchase, but for music very cool.

I have been looking for a high quality wireless system for years and finally found these speakers to go with my soundbar. The quality is great, the sound is unbelievably good especially for a wireless system. They have a unique feature that allows you to place them in other rooms and play other music sources on each. Love these and will probably continue to add more of them throughout the house.

I have been wanting this speaker for months now. To my surprise, on a recent visit to bestbuy by my wife, she saw that the price had dropped from $199.99 to 145 I think. She asked me if she should go ahead and get one and I said yes. She later texted me and told me that they had an open boxed one for $10 cheaper and bam!!! It was a done deal. I have enjoyed this speaker to the fullest. The hype around these speakers are very much justified. Still a little pricy but you will not be disappointed. Money well spent IMO.
