Easy to set up and great sound from a small speaker.

My wife and I have Sonos Play:1 & Play:3 speakers at home and love them. The setup is very easy and can be easily controlled from any device. We decided to give her brother a Sonos Play:1 speaker as a birthday gift and he is amazed of the ease of connecting it to his home network and most especially the great sound.

I am blown away by the ease of setup and sound quality of this speaker. It even has some limited Alexa capability on it's beta program that they promise to keep adding content. Best sound quality speaker in my house and I plan on adding more for true surround sound system in my family room.

I want to give this 5 stays so bad. Pros - The sound is outstanding and fills my entire place with sound alone. - Ease of setup and use Cons - Silo'd Sonos ecosystem fights with Chromecast a bit - The app could use a few UX tweaks, especially since you pretty much HAVE to use it - Not portable: Someone (cough:: SONOS ::cough) should really build a power pack for the Play1. You could almost name the price (but please keep in under 150.) Now that I am sufficiently satisfied with the Play1 I'll be returning to get the Playbar and possibly an additional Play1 to complete the 5.1 when I move into my deluxe apartment in the sky.

This is an excellent product. I installed it to my system and was able to play from my garage. I have hard wired throughout my home and this was a great option to running wires and installing a seperate volume control. If I were installing a system in my home this would definitely be the way to go! I highly recmmend.

I love my Sonos! This is the second pair we have gotten. The quality of the sound is amazing, they can be moved from room to room and they are simple to operate. I plan on buying mire accessories. I am amazed with the quality of these speakers.

Easy set up and very clear sound from the speaker.

I converted my wired 5.1 Surround System to Sonos a few months ago and have not regretted doing it. This single speaker purchase complements the existing system and adds a speaker to the master bedroom. Sonos is easy to set up and very easy to use.

Love the sound. Small speakers are easy to hide. Easy to move around. Wireless works great. Easy set up and easy to stream music from all the sources I use.

I've heard it in store several times, and it sounded okay but I was always comparing it to the Play:5. Anyways, I got the Play:1 for my bathroom, since it's humidity-resistant, and it sounds great. The Setup was quick and painless; I had it connected to my phone and my laptop in a matter of 5 minutes. The sound was a little too bass-heavy out of the box but you can adjust that (and treble) with the app, no problem. I will say that the Sonos app for macbook has trouble finding and keeping my personal music library in it's system, but this isn't a huge problem since I have Spotify Premium. TL,DR: Great sound, humidity-resistant, easy setup and usability

This was my 3rd Sonus component and I use all three every day. The ability to play streaming audio, Pandora, or music from my Laptop make this an all around fantastic system. The setup can be a bit confusing at first but if you follow the step by step directions the speakers connect to a home network easily.

I recently purchased multiple Sonos Play: 1's to fill my house with music. I'm enjoying their amazing sound quality. I ended up selling my Bose home theater to get the Sonos Playbar and it was well worth it. I'd highly recommend Sonos to anyone who wants an easy to setup and use solution to whole-home music system.

I added the Play:1 to my existing Play:3 speaker and I've been quite happy. Adding the new speaker took just a minute or two. I made a group with my two speakers and now have seamless audio fro my kitchen to my living room. Sound quality is great to my non-audiophile ears. Really balances nicely with the Play:3.

I have the sound bar and subwoofer and was anxious to add this piece to my set. It was easy to setup and the sound is amazing. I can use it as an alarm for the morning since I keep it near my bed, or just listen to music while I am getting ready for work in the morning. Overall, very happy with this purchase!!

I already had a Sonos Play 1 but I wanted another for a gym room. It's not done yet so I am using it with one I had in the kitchen. It immediately separated to a L&R channel stereo and wow! The app is awesome and the room tuning feature rounds it out nicely. Looks like I will get another for the gym!!!

I have looked at, and been interested in Sonos for quite a while since a friend was able to play his system through his house controlled from his phone. I really wanted it, but the price always gave me pause. Recently, my 1989 receiver quit, and I began to wonder what to do. My new boss raved about his sonos system, and I began to research again. And then there came the unusual (according to my boss) rare sale. I decided to go for it! I have loved it since it arrived. So easy to set up, and the sound is amazing. Fills my living room with rich sound. Love this product, and have already recommended it to many friends. Can't wait to get my next one!

I bought the speaker because I wanted big sound in a smaller portable wireless speaker for the patio, family room, kitchen and the bedroom. I even brought it to a party, placed it near the corner on the hard wood floor and the sound filled the room. People kept looking for the big speakers. Great value.

Best wireless speaker on the market in my opinion. The sound quality is superb for a compact, stand-alone wireless speaker. I have 6 Sonos PLAY:1's for different rooms and a pair for stereo sound in the family room. Easy operation and syncs well with many streaming services.

I'm a second time buyer and I love it. easy to use, easy to set up. no wires and very good sound. nice furniture piece on a shelf or where ever you put it and so versatile. I have full surround sound in my family room and now a speaker in my home office. will expand to master bedroom, then maybe outdoors.
