The Sonos Play1 is a superior speaker in every sense. The Sonos software makes setting up your speaker easy and using that software day and day out is a dream.

Bought for a temporary housing , while I fax. Built I. Surround sound on my house , this small compact stereo speaker does wonders and is a great buy !

I added this so on one to my songs system and it has been a nice little addition. I was looking for some speakers for my balcony. I wasn't sure if I wanted a fixed speaker for outside. I was afraid of the rain destroying my speakers. I decided to add this one because of its portability. it s small enough to move from room to room and also not bulky. it carries great sound for my balcony. I love my songs system and love the idea that I can control the sound from each room with the ease of an app.This was the 6 th Sonos addition to my house. I love every one of them.

i have the sonos play 3 and added the play 1 in an adjoining room. have been very happy with the sonos product, easy to navigate and the sound is great.

Setup was easy. Sounds great. Just wish it had line-in capabilities. App works great on droid maxx and galaxy 10. Love the addition of streaming off-air radio and police scanners.

This speaker has great sound no matter where you are around it in the area. The ability to hook it to Amazon, Apple, MLB, iheart is great and the app is great as well.

The Play 1 is a nice addition to the excellent SONOS line of products. I'm using it to add music to our master bedroom. I have several zones throughout my house, using nearly all of the other SONOS products (Connect, Connect: Amp, and Play:5). This is the smallest, lightest speaker system they offer, but it still delivers crisp highs and surprisingly deep lows for its size. It's no match for my Play:5, but then again, it's $150 less! My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't offer the "Line-in" function that most of the other SONOS units have. That would allow me to plug a CD Player, MP3 player, or TV into it if I ever needed to have quick access to a small, portable speaker with great sound. But overall, it integrated seamlessly with my network with the touch of a button, offers the option of creating a stereo pair, and does have a CAT 5 jack, so it's hard to complain. I have used wireless speakers using WiFi in the past to bring music to different parts of my house, and they invariably lose signal or just stop working with no warning. The SONOS mesh network never lets me down, and I get a clear, distortion-free signal anywhere I put the speaker. If I didn't already have a full surround sound system installed prior to the launch of SONOS, I would definitely buy a Playbar, a SUB, and use a set of these Play:1s as satellite speakers for sure.

Best Sonos sound for the money. Surprising sound -- clarity and volume. Does a greta job on classical and the stations available through the Sonos app are incredible.

The Sonos Play1 is a fantastic speaker for any room. Even if you’re pretty serious about your music, the tones come out clean and the sound is great. You might be a little skeptical based on the size, but let me tell you, it can fill a room from corner to corner! I’m looking forward to getting another for my living room while this one lives in the kitchen so that I can play them simultaneously and keep the dance party flowing from one room to the next. If you’re looking for some compact speakers that provide a punch, definitely consider these speakers.
