The best sound around! No wires, easy app to operate I it. We have them thruout the house. Can play multiple music in different rooms. I would certainly recommend these speakers to anyone that like easy mobility and great sound

No more speaker wires! Easy setup and use with iOS or Android phones and tablets. PLUS you can move the speaker somewhere else if unhappy with the location or the sound. All that's needed is to choose another location where there is an outlet within 5 feet of the unit (as 5 feet is the length of the electrical cord). You can't beat the convenience of Sonos and you'll find yourself listening more often and more easily to your favorite music. Far easier than fussing with CD's and wired stereo system components …unless you like doing that. Want the PLAY1 to sound better? Add a second PLAY1 and configure for a stereo pair, using the phone controller app. Real easy. I prefer the Sonos PLAY1 smart speaker to the Sonos PLAYONE smart speaker. What's the difference? They look the same, but the PLAY1 units are slightly less expensive and are NOT voice enabled for ALEXA (i.e. no built-in microphone). Whereas the PLAYONE units ARE voice enabled and compatible with ALEXA (i.e. have a built in microphone). IMPORTANT POINT: With Sonos, you can only create a stereo pair using identical models of Sonos smart speakers. Meaning, a PLAY1 must be paired with another PLAY1 to create a stereo pair. For example, you cannot mix PLAY1 and PLAYONE units to create a stereo pair ....as far as I am aware! I discovered this by accident once when I tried to create a stereo pair, using a PLAY1 and a PLAY5 unit. During the pairing setup, the software displayed a FAILED message, saying only identical models of smart speakers can be paired for stereo use. Who know what Sonos was thinking but this is the way it works.

Easy to Set up, just open the box, plug them in, connect to your source, and begin listening. Powerful sound from a small unit, expandable and other rooms, add the sound bar for the complete experience.

I love the Sonos system. First bought a 5 and then purchased this Sonos 1 for the kitchen. The two can work seamlessly together, or independently. Easy to set up--can use 10 minutes after opening. Look forward to buying more.

This is my first Sonos speaker & I love it. It sounds great, and is easy to switch between multiple music services (Apple, Amazon, iHeart, etc.). I will definitely be adding more Sonos speakers soon!

Our home is wired for whole house audio, but the Adonis is south easier to set up. You can play each speaker independently or simultaneously. Truly remarkable. Just grab an iPhone, iPad or computer and it takes about 30 seconds per speaker to set up. You get local radio stations, Pandora or countless other options including music in your iPhone, iPad, etc. we use the Playbar as our TV speaker or as part if the whole house audio. Total of 5 play 1's and 1 Playbar and we are done. No need for a play 3 or play 5 even in the big rooms

I listened to the larger Sonos but not this one so I wasn't sure what to expect. But it sounds great! Better then my Bose Soundlink II. And I loved how easy it was to hook up to the Amazon Echo Show.

Looking to upgrade my sound system-Sonos became a no brainer. The ease of use of app, awesome sound for such a small speaker and the ability to stream music from my phone or turntable. Great product!

Purchased two Play1 speakers to pair with a Playbar for my tv. Setup was quite easy to follow with the Sonos app. Pairing provides a true surround sound experience. Sound quality is clear and crisp.....great product.

When I was looking at the $69 wireless speakers, Michael in the store asked what I wanted them for. I told him I wanted one for me to listen to my 40's music in my bedroom & bathroom while dressing and that I was giving the other to my "30 something" year old daughter to listen to in her 750 sq foot apartment. He said, "Then you are looking at the wrong thing! Come over here & look at the Sonos!" I had never heard of Sonos, but I did go look. I have not regretted spending the extra qimes the price, they are a million times better in sound than the ones I had in my hands!! I have a really expensive brand of radio at my office and the SONOS sound far exceeds the one in the office!! I would highly recommend them to EVERYONE!! My daughter LOVES hers too!! Well worth the money!

First thing you notice is how solid, well built and attractive this piece looks. It's the kind of electronic aparatus you don't want to hide somewhere, you want to put it in proeminent display since it just looks beautiful and professional. The sound quality is really good and can fill any room with no effort. The fact that it can stream standalone is a bless, you can just load a playlist and turn off your tablet/smatphone/computer, the thing will just go on and on. Can control volume and pause directly at the unit itself. Yes, at first you can think it's expensive for a speaker, but it's not just a speaker, is a full expandable audio system in a compact package. Only thing I hope they fix in their software is more equalization options. Try it, you won't regret.

I made the plunge!! I have so many friends with Sonos in their homes or offices and the sounds coming out of these little gems are fabulous. I was a little concerned with the set up and in less than 10 minutes I was jamming out to my favorite country tunes. I really like the fact I can unplug this unit and bring it to my back porch or garage. I am planning on buying three more for the far bedroom and kids rooms. They are sturdy and should last a long time. happy camper! Desert Ron

These little speakers put out great sound for their size. Easy set up, and the ability to put different music on each speaker and also the ability to control the volume separately is very helpful.

The Sonos Bluetooth speaker is the easiest Speaker I have ever set up. It puts out great sound and works regardless of whether your phone is near the speaker or not. Pick your music and let it play. That is all it takes.

Purchased an extra Sonos speaker for another room. Easy to hook up and operate from my iPhone. Good range of sound from a small speaker and its wireless even though you must have a power outlet to plug it into for power.

We have an extensive music collection on our computer, but have been struggling with the best way to make use of it. It turns out that the Sonos Play 1 was the answer to all our problems! Downloading the software was a snap and setting up the network was just as simple. Before I knew it I could listen to music in the study (with much higher quality sound that our computer speakers), in the kitchen (who doesn't enjoy some distraction while making dinner) or even outside on the patio. Whether we are enjoying music from our own collection, streaming Pandora or listening to NPR in the morning, the programming is easy to access and the sound quality is excellent. I look forward to purchasing more Sonos components for other rooms in our house.

Sonos wins big in the ease of use category. Installed 3 of these to our office space and added much needed ambience for a fraction of what a professionally installed system would cost. Oh yeah, it sounds great too!

Although the Bose speakers notes sound richer, I love that these speakers can be connected through your home's Wi-Fi network, this extending the range rather than Bose's Bluetooth connectivity.

I have the whole system and its easy to use and set up sound is terrific for a small speaker!!! I had one issue and the sonos company handled it right over my computer very helpful company. highly recommend this product
