I use this speaker for parties. It has excellent sound and the wireless range is excellent.

THIS LITTLE THING HAS GOOD HIGHS AND LOWS. THIS HAS A GOOD AMOUNT OF BASS AND WORKS WELL IN MY KITCHEN.

I’ve used these simply to steam music but I recently bought a pair to act as the surrounds in my 5.1 Sonos setup with my Playbase and Sub. While there are pluses and minuses with Sonos as home theatre in general, the Play:1’s are terrific. They sound rich and vibrant and were simple to set up. No Alexa as in the One’s, but I didn’t need that feature. And as surrounds they work flawlessly. Highly recommend.

We have the Sonos 1. We love it . The sound is good and the good part is we can move it from room to room.

I have several Airplay compatible speakers but ended up trying Sonos because I was having trouble finding more Airplay speakers. My wife and I bought two Sonos speakers to check out their system and liked them so much we bought two more as well as one of their Connect units to add my conventional stereo to the system. I'm thinking a couple more purchases may be in my future. One factor that played into trying their products is that they no longer require a separate network to operate. Sonos had marketed this as an advantage in that you would not burden your primary network with the task of streaming music but since I have gone to great pains to put together a good network that includes the main house and my barn/workshop/mancave I was happy to use my primary network instead of buying more hardware to set up another network. The software is what really defines "easy" with this system. There is a seemingly infinite number of source choices that are available; Pandora, iHeart, TuneIn, Apple Music, radioPup, Spotify, music on your computer, music on your phone. You name it, they appear to support it, unlike the limited options Apple AirPlay offer. Want one source for the family room and one source for the kitchen? No problem! It's incredibly easy. It's also incredibly easy to fill the entire house with the same music source. I cannot stress enough how easy the system is to use. I have to admit, we have only purchased the Play 1 (the smallest) units thus far. I would love to purchase the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer but doubt I will ever want to sink that much money into my system. Just being honest here but I suspect anyone who decides to go that route will not be disappointed.

I bought this because my JBL Bluetooth speaker died. The sound quality is exceptional. The only downfalls are that the speaker has to be plugged into an outlet and using your Google Music or Amazon music accounts through the speaker requires going through the Sonos app (which is not as intuitive or easy to navigate as the native apps). All that said, this speaker is great for its price AND more speakers can be added to form a whole house sound system.

Compact product that puts out amazing sound. I am not an audiophile to take my feedback for what its worth. I do think this speaker works really well. Would love to be able to control this using google assistant instead of the Sonos App.

I own a small medical practice & play music in 3 different treatment rooms. I needed something that would play in each room without interruptions when I am on my computer or phone. These are even more amazing than I expected. They run seamlessly even when I get a call or watch videos online. The sound quality is so rich that patients say they hear less of what is going on in other rooms now. So pleased!

Great compact speaker for my surround system. Works seamlessly with Sonos Soundbar and Sub. I use this outdoor when entertaining and as a surround speaker for one of my home theater systems. I would get the Play 3 or Play 5 if the room is bigger but for small rooms this is ideal.

I bought this to go with the new large screen television. I was planning on having the room wired for speakers but decided to do this after so many people said they thought it would do what I wanted. I have only been using it for a short time. I bought a sonos play 1 and will probably also buy a sonos play 3. The play 1 is easy to move around so I move it from kitchen to bath to patio to provided music in those locations. I was told the play 3 is better sound quality but it is also larger. For the price it does a good job. You must calibrate the speakers in the sound bar with the living space. Once I did that the sound quality was a lot better. If you are deep into sound quality, this will probably disappoint but I think it is doing a good job. As soon as I get the subwoofer hooked up I might be more than happy. It certainly is easy to add to and move the speakers around.
