I did not think such a small speaker could deliver such great sound. Honestly, I bought it with all intentions of bringing it back. I did not think it would sound as nice as the Play 3 and 5 I already have. But after connecting it to my existing Sonos system, doing the software update (easypeasy) and giving it a test drive....SOLD. Sonos can get expensive, seriously, but you get what you pay for.

This is the second Play 1 speaker I've purchased from Sonos. The stereo pairing is truly incredible. I use them mainly in two different rooms so I've only used the pairing occasionally. The sound coming from just one is really incredible for such a small form factor. Of course the wireless streaming services on offer are impressive and constantly growing. Love the sonos system. Am looking forward to getting a soundbar down the line.

Very easy to set up, great sound for a speaker with such a little footprint

I got two of the Play:1 speakers, along with a Playbar an Sub to replace an old Bose home theatre system. I usually leave them set up as surround speakers, but I love having the ability to reconfigure them as a separate zone and take them into a different room or out on the patio for music in those areas. The entire system is very versatile and easy to use. I plan on adding more speakers in the future.
