I love how easy it was to setup. I got a second, and it was just as easy to add. So much nicer than trying to bluetooth connect every time

The sound on this thing is great and is very loud as well.

I purchased the Sonos Play:1 wireless speaker after listening to a Play: 5 that my son inadvertently left at my house for a few months. I did not want to spend the money on or find the space for a Play: 5, so I am very happy with the value and size of the Play:1. My only disappointment is that there is not a free version of Spotify that I can stream on it.

This is a great sound system that is incredibly easier to set up. Dies not eat up the battery of your devices as it is using the Internet to stream to music, not the actual device. I would and have recommend this product. As a matter if fact just recently added the Sound Bar for my TV, expensive but definitely worth it

For a small speaker it has very good sound, and is very easy to set up.

I bought two Play:1 speakers to use as rear surrounds with my Sonos Playbar. Out of the box, the surround sound is very good. I’m regularly startled by subtle sounds in the room that turn out to be from the soundtrack of a movie, but they sound like they’re coming from the middle of the room. Great, reasonably priced upgrade to the Playbar.

Incredible sound in a tiny package, this is great product!

It was VERY easy to set up. Further, I wanted to use it with the Groove music service and it was pretty darn seamless. It reads in my existing playlists, allows me to add to playlists, and searches the catalog, all using the Sonos interface. I haven't figured out how to go the other way, and use the Groove interface (which I really like) with the Sonos device.

We purchased the Sonos for our living room, to play music from our phones, and wirelessly stream various genre radio stations and music services. It has wonderful sound for a small unit, and it is perfect for one room. We ended up buying a second one for the rear of the house, and group them as simultaneously playing the music no matter where we are in the house.

Sonos is a great product. Great sound and easy to use.

as mentioned above it just doesn't get any better. music where and when you want it. different on every speaker or all the same. stereo if you want, surround if you want. for me with no left side hearing it is great to have a sonos one beside me when listening to anything as I can hear it without having the sound soooo loud others are disturbed. 10 out of 10

The sound is amazingly good for a small speaker! Prior to this item being offered, I started my system with the CONNECT:AMP for my in-ceiling speakers and then added two of the Play:3's. I was hesitant to buy the PLAY:1 because I was concerned it wouldn't sound as good but I'm using it in a smaller room and it sounds great - just what I needed to balance price and performance in that room!
