Great technology, easy setup, user friendly... great sound... fantastic

I bought one of the Play:1's initially just to be able to play sound in my home, but the quality was so good that I eventually upgraded the sound system to include a Playbar as well as another Play:1 for surround on my TV. Overall the quality is great, and the ability to stream music from any device in the house is amazing. Also great is how good the system sounds for not having to buy a pricey receiver. I do wish that the surround was a little stronger on the Play:1's when used in conjunction with the Playbar, as more often than not the sound coming from the side Play:1's are blown away by the Playbar, but that is only an issue if you are trying to set up a 5.1 Surround with your TV and the Playbar.

The only issue with Sonos is they are addictive. Once you start, you will find reasons to buy more. I started with the soundbar. I now own the sub, beam, play 5, multiple sonos play 1 and multiple sonos one speakers. I purchased this one to pair with another play 1 I already have. You can't go wrong with Sonos!

This purchase was my second sonos1 to create a stereo pair in my NYC apartment. I studied music and have a relatively developed and discriminating ear. I must admit I am more than impressed with Sonos. The sound is rich with instrument distinction and clarity. These speakers are amazing with all types of music and always a pleasure to enjoy.

I have been a Sonos fan for years now and am never disappointed. I love having music throughout my condo and this completed the space.

The sound is beautiful! I also love that I can control the music source ( sirius XM, Pandora or any radio station) and the volume from my phone or tablet.

The Sonos speaker is a breeze to set up and sounds amazing.

Sonos speakers produce great sound! I love it for playing music around the house and having a speaker set up in different parts around the house. I wish the speakers would work (maybe they do and I haven't figured it out yet but I'm pretty sure they don't) for tv. They're great for music but they're small speakers and pricey. The app for the speakers is also buggy at times. Sometimes my app freezes which is frustrating considering these rely on that app to work properly. I've written reviews on the Songs app through iTunes so hopefully they fix some of the issues.

Easy set up, good customer service. Nothing not to lilke about Sonos.

This speaker would be fantastic if it had Bluetooth or Airplay capabilities. You would not need an App if it had those powerful features. I can't use the iMatch to play songs from my iPhone though the cloud, I have to have the songs downloaded into my phone to be able to play them, and with my limited storage that just won't happen. You also won't be able to paly songs from YouTube because of that. You'll eventually end up choosing a playlist that plays random music in the background or if you can afford it, use a premium service like Spotify and the likes to play the music you want, not through the Spotify app but through the Sonos app itself. Overall, it's nice, looks nice, the sound is great, you can see clearly that it's well made. It just feels limited.

Again, the speakers sound incredible. The simplicity of the Sonos app on the computer and iPhone to just play music is great! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting really fed up with Apple's overly complex entertainment system aka iTunes. How about just tunes again, instead of its never ending expansion into the sales of everything in the entertainment world.
