This little speaker packs a punch for a small room. Love how easy they are to set up and control from my cell phone....pricey but worth it. Will be adding a subwoofer to our soundbar soon

This is the fifth Sonos speaker added to our home system. The sound is great for a small and modern looking speaker. I love the ease of use. Once you've connected the speaker (which is VERY easy) and have started streaming music, you can turn the volume up and down or turn it on and off from the speaker itself. My 2 year old knows how to use it. We will be adding the Playbar and Subwoofer soon to replace our old home theater.

I was looking for a solution for a home sound system. This one provides a lot of flexibility, is easy to set-up, and sounds great! I can't wait to try some of their other components.

Was looking for a portable wireless speaker to be able to move around the house. I would have given this a 5 rating but didn't because I thought this one was totally wireless, like having a battery inside that was rechargeable, but it's not - requires electric plug wherever you go. But, sure sounds good!

Great speaker with big sound. I like that you can add to it in the future. Very stylish and would fit with any decor. Plan on buying another for even better sound.

I am listening to the unit right now. Sound is great, set up was easy, purchase from Best Buy was so convenient. I think I might buy another soon for my upstairs!

In a past life / career, I was an audio engineer in a post-production and live sound environment. I know good audio. Like many people, I looked skeptically at the price of Sonos Speakers for years and wondered why they would cost so much - for essentially what I assumed was just like "any other Bluetooth speaker". In the meantime, I messed around with a whole-house AirPlay setup, experimented with running AirPlay Express stations into Bose Wave Radios' line-in inputs with iTunes on an iMac running the audio to get a great uncompressed sound. There were multiple bugs and issues with this setup. On a whim, I decided I would try the Sonos Play:1 "just to check it out", assuming I would probably end up returning it. My significant other and I were so blown away by the sound quality and the ease of setup that I am now going to setup Sonos speakers throughout the house. It reminds me a lot of my resistance to purchase Apple products a long time ago ... why pay more when I can get products "that are almost exactly the same" for less? Well, once you try a truly well-built product you understand why you are paying more. You're paying for years of headache-free enjoyment of the product. I know I sound like an advertisement (I'm not affiliated with Sonos in any way), and I NEVER take the time to write reviews like this, but we've enjoyed this product so much I thought I would chime in to let anyone else who is hesitating know ... Sonos is TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE. You will not regret it.

This unit provides excellent sound quality. Set up was simple too! We use this speaker to “pipe in” music to my husband’s workshop in the garage from our desktop which is located in an adjacent room. Before purchasing this speaker the only way he could hear the music was to blast it so it was too loud in the house. The computer is hooked up to a pair of Bose, but I can say the sound quality between them and the Sonos is comparable! Great product. I will definitely look into bringing sound to other rooms with the Sonos system.

Placed this speaker in our family room next to the kitchen. Sound quality seems even better than the playbar for just playing music. The speaker also gets very loud while retaining quality. The sonos app is well designed and spotify lets you select the speaker from the spotify app now. Grouping this speaker with our existing speaker works flawlessly. Both speakers are completely in sync and sound great together.

Setup was quick and easy. The sound is really impressive from a small mono speaker. It's tempting to get a second to set up a stereo pair, but I haven't pulled the trigger on that yet.

I purchased 3 Sonos speakers for my new retail store so I could balance the sound in different areas of the store. They were so easy to install and sound great!

Be warned sonos is addicting. Easy install but pay attention to sound. Sometimes it might not work with first setup cause of wifi connection. Just revert to factory and don't rush.

These things sound amazing. It does have a ton of great music services But the bummer is no YouTube audio, paid Spotify only and a bit high priced. Alexa works.

The sound coming out of it seems really rich. Very easy to setup and can be added to your existing network of other Sonos speakers.

I found this system easy to install and produces a great sound. The system features add-ons so one can build up an entire home system over time. My wife and I have loved this system.

This is an amazing speaker for the money. It literally was plug and play. That simple. I never thought it would be better than Bose. It is so much more powerful. An excellent product

Works as advertised and then some. Sound quality is great for a speaker its size. I was shocked by how much base response came out of such a tiny speaker. The Sonos app for IPhone is intuitive and very easy to use. Wireless set-up was a breeze. The only downside to the Sonos Play:1 is the price. But in the case of the Play:1, you get what you pay for and then some. If you find an open box deal like I did, go for it.

The Play One Sonos has excellent full sound - set up for 3 speakers was the easiest thing we have done - all done with our iPhone and the Sonos Controller App

Set up was a breeze! Sound is amazing! The speakers are small and can be placed anywhere! Wireless fidelity anywhere in the house!

Purchased 3 wireless speakers, three sizes - for kitchen, den, and living room. This one in the kitchen takes up little space and yet delivers a powerful sound not to be beat.
