Purchased four of these units, two for use as surround speakers for my home entertainment system (Sonos) and two more for rooms in the house. None of the rooms are very large so volume is not an issue. I'm sure the Play 3 and Play 5 are better but for most purposes the Play 1 is more than adequate.

I bought this speaker as an addition to my existing Sonos system. I spend a fair amount of time in my garage and wanted to be able to stream music while out there. It works great, and if the family is watching TV they can use the system in the living room for that while I'm listening to music in the garage.

This speaker is very versatile. We have two as part of our main Sonos surround system. One in our master bathroom and one in each of our kids rooms. Good sound for a small speaker.

These speakers (I bought 2), connected as surround speakers, are awesome. You can have them set as low ambient sound or enhance the sound to hear your music/movies all around. The are so easy to connect. Just plug in the power cord & use your Sonos app on your device to set it up.

these speakers are very very nice for the price great sound out of a small speaker. don't expect a subwoofer but still great bass response for its size and power absolutely would buy more. you should treat yourself to at least 2 per room for the best bluetooth speakers for the money

I first heard these when I was walking through a store in a little tourist town. When I walked through the door the music was the first thing that caught my attention, so I immediately looked to see where the sound was coming from. I was SO surprised to see that all that warm, rich, clear sound was coming from this little speaker!

Needed a few of these to augment sound around the lower level of my house. These speakers are connected with 2, 5's a soundbar, a sub 3, 3's and my sound is now complete.
