I'm using two of these as a stereo pair and they really do sound great! I used the custom room tuning feature and they have great sound reproduction for my listening needs. They may not be audiophile-level in sound quality, but for streaming music they work great.

We bought these after our iPod died - did not want to replace with another wired device - outdated. We didn't want to spend money to wire our main system through all rooms in the house - so tried the Sonos - we liked it so much we went and bought the next size up for another room - these are great! So easy!

Bought to pair with an existing play 1 and Beam for surround sound. Open box saved me $13 off the price. Works flawlessly. Great as a stand-alone speaker. Would use every summer by our pool as an outdoor speaker when needed. Has great range and sound.

There is no product that I recommend more strongly to those I know than Sonos. The play 1, although their smallest, still has a lot of depth to the sound. This was put as a single speaker to extend our sonos network into my daughter's room and she absolutely loves it.

This makes speaker number 3 for me after buying the sound bar to go with the tv in my largest room. I have been picking up this size speaker to add to rooms through out my home. There is a bit of set up involved but once done they are good to go and have great sound.

I have the complete songs sound system (Sound Bar, Sub Woofer & 2 Play 1's) I use in the basement for surround sound on our television setup. We needed a speaker that would play music upstairs and I bought another Play 1. Works flawlessly.

I have a few SONOS speakers now and love them all. They have the best app on the market.

Needed replacement for beatpill to play streaming audio in storefront. sonos Play 1 coupled with bridge connected to UVerese router fits the bill. fits neatly within display cabinet and fills room with decent range of sound. Unfortunately, store owner controls Sirius content easily from her iPhone sonos app.

This purchase was my second play 1. I also have a play 2 and their stereo interface. I listen to the other play 1 almost daily. This speaker is the best WiFi speaker as far as I am concerned. The sound quality is excellent. I would buy another in a heart beat if I see a need

I finally have a solution for an easy to use music system in and around my house. The App is extremely easy to use and setup was a breeze which is great, but it is the sound quality that has me spun out over this Sonos system. I have plans to buy the Play Bar & Sub in the New Year.. Awesome product.

Purchased a Sonos One as a holiday gift for my partner. We absolutely love I! Incredibly easy to set up, versatile, easy to use in different parts of the house as well as outdoors. Ended up buying a Soundbar and this Sonos Play for our vacation home.

Great quality and portability. Easy to move from room to room, or even outside (when it's dry outside).

Perfect solution for getting music almost anywhere in your house. The software is easy to use and understand. The best part is that the Connect:Amp allows me to listen to my legacy component (turntable) thought the new system. You have to experience the versatility of the SONOS to fully appreciate it!

Bought the whole set - soundbar, pair of 1's, SUB, and bridge - they were so simple to setup, and work awesome. Only complaints I would have are around the application flow - it is a little clunky swapping between sources, and finding things like SUB/Base configuration. Only other complaint is the short list of things I can stream from my iPad - if I want to do music - no problem, but I cannot stream audio from a playing video native or with my Plex app or others. This is quite the bummer since I wanted to take one of the 1's with me outside or upstairs to watch movies on my iPad.

Even though I like my Bluetooth for places away from home, I must say that at home these Sonos - 1 speakers are the way to go. Great sound and wireless. I've also added more Sonos products and now enjoy music inside and outside the house. Delightfully pleased.

Excellent smaller sized speaker for the home that is strictly wifi connected & amazing rich sound. I prefer the fact that this does not connect through blue tooth since it can be unpredictable for me. Great price for a top of the line sonos product.

I really think this is a great product, the ease of setup and the choices to stream music is excellent. i can listen to local radio, my mp3 collection or stream pandora. i would highly recommend.

Love this smaller speaker for smaller rooms and as a lower-cost intro to the Sonos system. I bought several as gifts and people love them. Got one for myself even though I have several Play5's. Easily portable to another LAN environment like a vacation spot or to different places in your home. Although it is a mono speaker it has a big sound. Highly recommend as a foot in the Sonos water (can't say enough good things about the system) or as an add-on to your existing system.

I purchased this item as a father's gift and my husband uses it constantly....he absolutely loves it!!
