I started with a sound bar and a sub-woofer and two Play:1's. One by one I have added 4 more Play:1's to the system. One for every other room. I love to turn them all on while puttering around the house so I can listen seamlessly while on the move. I toyed with the thought of Play:3's or 5's, but the Play:1's are so good for a small unobtrusive speaker that I stuck with them.

I was looking for a wireless speaker for playing music in the house. This item fits the bill perfectly, it looks and sounds great! I purchased a Sonos bridge to create a separate network in my house for this speaker. It works great and I can add additional speakers in the future with ease.

I am very happy with the Sonos, however I did have concerns upfront. I have heard many positives about Sonos but I have heard that the system is an over price sound system. I think for what it costs it provides excellent sound and I really like it. I do dislike one thing about sonos and that is buying into the whole ecosystem. My intention with this purchase was to eventually buy another Play one and have the connect to my tv. However, I found out that in order to do so you have to buy the Sonos sound bar as well to connect it. With the cost of the Sonos sound bar plus two play 1's one would be better off buying a Dolby Atmos soundbar. Regardless of this i am still happy with my speaker and do intend on purchasing another one shortly.

I bought this as an anniversary present for my fiance. He's been using it since mid November and I'm still hearing him rave about the clarity of the music. The Sonos app is pretty cool too and can be used to control the speaker. We haven't had any connection problems like we do with bluetooth speakers so that's been wonderful, too.

I bought the main Sonos unit last year and instead of buying another stereo for bedroom I just bought the add on speaker! Was delighted to find out I no longer had to buy the bridge to connect them together! Saved some money there! But can walk from room to room and still hear my music!!
