Bought this one to add to a single one already in use. After doing the speaker tuning selection in the Sonos app, What a difference the added second Sonos added to the room. Sonos 1 speakers and their app give you flexibility in moving your speakers around. The speakers and app work off the same wifi network, so control is easy.

I have always been a Bose fan. I've had one of their mini speakers for a few years and it's very impressive. I was finally ready to make the investment and purchase several Bose Soundtouch 10 wireless speakers. This would allow me to have a speaker in each room of my home and play the same music throughout my house (for parties). After purchasing several Soundtouch 10 speakers, I spent hours trying to get the speakers to play the same music (at the same time). I followed the instructions, but I couldn't get it to work. After researching it on the Bose support website, I found out everyone was furious because the speakers didn't work as advertised. Ever since a system upgrade (several months ago) the ability to play the same song on all speakers no longer worked. Bose didn't know why and after months of complaints, they didn't seem any closer to resolving the issue. I returned $700 of Bose speakers. I purchased several Sonos speakers. Plugged them in, followed the setup instructions and within minutes I was up and running and music was playing throughout my home. If Bose can't get their speakers to work correctly, they should stop selling them.

I bought this for my husband for our anniversary -- to replace the boom box we keep on our porch. I don't know how we lived without it -- especially once we looked at all the software options -- there is so much available! We're looking at adding them to various rooms of the house. Its so easy to set up and use even tech-unfriendly people like us got it quickly!

I bought two Play:1 speakers as the first two legs of my whole home audio system. These things are easy to set up, simple to use, and sound incredible. I can't wait to add the Play:5 and Playbar to my arsenal.

This is a small speaker, but has great sound. I use it in my office for background music while working, and couldn't be happier. I love all the Sonos features like the timer, so it shuts off after a number of hours, and being able to stream thousands of radio stations and online services. Basically it's a nice small Sonos speaker.

I'm 100% happy and satisfied with my Sonos -sound is amazing and works perfectly when paired with my other Sonos:5. I know it's expensive, but I will never regret buying it. My wife and I listen to so much more music right now. We really love it. The sound of this little guy is just amazing. The app probably need some improvement, but it will get there.

Start with one and expand as needed. I have two Sonos 3s in my house and another 3 of the Sonos 1s. They work flawlessly, synch to each other, can be grouped, set up individually or as stereo (or 5.1 with a sub and a play bar) I absolutely love the experience. Since they work off of Wifi, they can be easily set up anywhere near an electrical outlet, moved any time.

SINCE my initial intro to Sonos Play 3, I just love to hear it come on to my various stations, so naturally, I had to expand. I'm glad that I did. It hasn't disappointed. However, it was challenging to connect it manually, though all the steps were taken time and again. Finally, I did it auto, but still face frequent unexplained decoupling from group. One or the other will disconnect and setup must happen again. That's frustrating. When they work in grouping, it makes for great listening. No complaints related to construction of product. I loved the price i paid. If only they would remain grouped when playing. It would be WONDERFUL

Bought two more Play:1s to complement existing Play:5 for surround sound in our family room. I have Sonos in 5 rooms in our house and plan to keep building on. The ease of set up, user interface and sound are all terrific.

I love the Sonos Play 1 speaker. The fact that I can have the same/different music playing in different areas of my home is awesome and the sound that comes out of them is fantastic. I need to buy 3 more to complete my living room surround sound as well create a stereo sound in my bedroom , once that's done, that's that!! Awesome speakers is the bottom line.

Simple setup. Purchased 3 Play:1 Speakers and mounting hardware for the office. Initially had an issue with the wifi, but it was caused by my Cisco Meraki wireless network. Configured a new wifi network for the speakers and was setup in under 2 hours. Including mounting the speakers and installing software. Would def recommend

This is my second Sonos, so it goes without saying that I am pleased with this speaker. Sound quality is great, on par with bose and can stream the same audio to multiple speakers, which was the deciding factor in choosing Sonos over the Bose. Frustrating being only to stream through the songs app instead of straight from the computer. Overall very pleased.

The system offers excellent sound quality with very simple set up.
