We already had one Play 1 speaker in the den and after redoing our dining room, decided to buy a second one and set them both up as stereo speakers in the dining room. Pairing was quick and easy and it's highly recommended to get a second one to listen to true stereo without the hassle of a big system.

This is my first Sonos product, and I will be purchasing more. I love the technology this product offers- multiple devices can connect, doesn't interrupt phone calls, and the app is great. The only thing I'm still trying to work out is the sound/bass quality. While I have no real complaints about the sound, the bass tends to get deeper as the volume reduces e.g. when the song is coming to an end. I think it has something to do with the setting I have it on. I'm a total sound quality nerd, and bass is big on my list. Not blow your windows out bass, but a strong deep tone. This said, for the size and for the price, this little machine is great.

Sonos is the way to go in your home period. My house is prewired for ceiling speakers throughout and has knobs on the walls for volume control. After extensive research I decided to do Sonos instead. Great decision I run the entire house from the Sonos App. You can connect all your favorite music. ETC I linked I heart Radio, XM Radio, Amazon Prime Music and much more. The App is super easy to set speakers all over the house and group them. The Sub and sound bar are amazing quality. I even purchased the connect for my regular stereo system making is Sonos too. For outside I purchased the connect with built in AMP to run outdoor speakers. AMAZING PEORID.

I have been researching the Sonos system for over a year comparing it primarily to the Bose. I believe the quality is as good as the Bose if not better and the price of course is much better. I cannot wait to continue to add components!

These were my first Sonos speakers and we use them every day. They sound good and play loud. They may not have all the features of the latest speakers but you can control them with an Amazon Echo. I just added a Gen 3 Sub to them and it integrated perfectly. I now have 4 Play Ones. These are often available cheap refurbished from Sonos. I have found that Sonos products are actually a very good value and worth the price. Sonos uses very high quality materials and has high production standards.

Nice addition to my soundbar and sub. i now have music in my bedroom (play 1) with soundbar and sub in living room downstairs. you can stream different music at the same time or the same music in different locations at the same time. this feature is awesome and i am very happy with my purchase.

A pair of play 1 speakers work good as surround sound speakers. I was debating on going with bigger speakers, but these are more than what is needed. As always easy to set up.

This speaker connects to our wireless network so we can listen to music we have stored on our hard drive, listen to many, many free radio stations, and connect to paid music services. It is easy to set up so it can be controlled from a smart phone. I highly recommend it.

This is a great speaker for a medium size room. I have to Bose bluetooth and this a a great speaker for the price point. The real value is when you have several of these and able to stream multiple songs in different rooms. I will be expanding my system - currently have (2) of the Play 1 and (1) Play 3

I bought this PLAY1 first.I'm currently at 7.Easy to set up, easy to use and sounds great.I have them throughout the house.It went from quiet to a house filled with your music.

First I bought Sonos system for my stereo. Then added this speaker in another room of the house. Got exactly what the advertisement states - DYNAMITE SOUND. Have Pandora on system and cannot complain about anything. For 199.00 it's a bargain.

We love these Sonos speakers. They are easy to set up and moveable. We have one we move from room to room, including outdoors for parties and garage when we spend time out there. We will be buying more, probably the sound bar next.

We had the Geek squad set up our Sonos sound system. We could not believe the excellent sound quality of the sound bar, the 2 surround sound speakers and dynamite sub woofer! We have enjoyed the quality sound, Alexa features, and app. updates which if our grandchildren get carried away with the volume the ability to tame the volume using the app. on my phone. YES, we would buy this again and thinking of expanding our system with more speakers for an adjoining room. Have enjoyed for 2 years!

Bought this speaker during the Black Friday sale and the sound on this speaker was so good I ended up buying a Sonos One and a Play 3 speaker for the house. The sound quality on these speakers is second to none! I’m actually thinking about buying one more Play 1. Dang.

These are set up as a stereo pair in my bathroom. The soak in the bath goes on for a long time now. Apart from all the great features of sonos, I can't believe how easy it is to set up!

What will they think of next? A great new source of music and radio with a tremendous sound. I was so impressed, I immediately bought two more for my daughters and they love Sonos as much as I do. Get one! At $149, Best Buy has the current (Dec. 2017) best price, too.

I already have a Sonos 5 and LOVE it so I decided to get additional speaker for my room. Next I will get the sub woofer. Great sound even for a small speaker and can be moved anywhere in the house to complement the other speakers?

Was doubtful about Sonos, but Tim at Best Buy said I would not be disappointed. Tim was spot on, the speakers are awesome, even the wife is hooked! easy set up too.

Sonos is easy to use and easy to add on. I have moved twice now and at each place it is incredibly easy to set up. App interface is nice. It rarely goes on sale for a reason.

OverallI have 3 amps powering whole home so I got this for a more portable option. It sounds pretty good, solid volume but not as much as I would think for price. Would be 5 star if it had some battery even enough to unplug and move to a different location. When unplugged you have to plug it back in and wait for it to reconnect before playing again.
