I had heard about the quality of Sonos audio on the Mac Power Users podcast and decided to purchase a Sonos 1 lf after having a demo of the unit at an Apple Store. We have a large open floor plan (kitchen and family room) and the Sonos 1 fills the entire space with excellent sound (including far more rich bass than I expected). The Sonos application was easy to install and setup on the iPhone and my wife and I now have complete control over the music. Since this is connected to Wifi, there are no multiple user hassles like with bluetooth. I'm looking forward to purchasing additional Sonos 1 units for other spaces in our home.

I now own 3 play 5 speakers from Sonos and i absolutely love them. I can wirelessly stream music of my Spotify account to any room in my house. Sonos makes it easy and fun. Plus it can get loud enough to shake the house! Love it!

we just purchased an older home built in the 1970s which had not been wired for speakers. It is 6000 ft.² and we wanted music everywhere. We have speakers all over the house and it was so easy to install. The sound is fantastic and my little girls can have music in their bedrooms to fall asleep while we are enjoying our own music on the main floor. The only con about this system are the surroundsound two little speakers that are not that great. But everything else is super!

I have the Play 3 and bought this for another room. Same great functionality. Sound is great for the size. The Play 3 has greater bass.

I love this speaker. The Sonos Play1 is ideal for smaller sized room such as bedrooms and even bathrooms. This doesn't have the bass that you will get on your play3 or play5 but the music it delivers is still worth a 5-star rating for money. I have three of these now.

Love the speaker. I bought just the one sonos play:1 for use in my office and am amazed at how rich the sound is for such a small package. I'm a bit of snob when it comes to my music equipment and expected I would need to buy another, or maybe upgrade to one of the larger speakers, but I am very happy with the one. The only drawback is that you have to use the sonos app to control spotify or amazon prime music, which is less than optimal because the sonos app is not as comprehensive and use friendly as the spotify or prime apps.

Love these speakers! They are so easy to set up and synch with other Sonos speakers. The sound quality is amazing. I definitely plan on purchasing a few more for the house.

purchased to provide a bit of surround in our apartment to our existing sonos play bar and sub and it does the job perfectly. it does not, nor can be, set up as an entire surround system without another play 1 but it can still be grouped to play the same sound. It sounds amazing and works well.

Great speaker. Sounds great plus connect to it from all your devices from any room. Easy set up and excellent customer support. Works with my Xm or any streaming service too.

The Sonos system is great whether you are in your home or business. We use this system in all of our gyms to stream new music right from our iPad. The sound is amazing and the quality is top notch and worth every penny. You won't get heavy base out of these and for our use they are perfect!

I started out by purchasing the Sonos beam a few months ago. I tested out the beam to see if this an ecosystem I wanted to get into. So far it is amazing. The app is intuitive, has many options to add music services etc . I decided to add the play ones 4 months later and wow, I wish I could’ve purchased these sooner. They are at a great price and it takes music to the next level! Since I have mines connected with the Sonos beam movies never sounded better! The bass is punchy the mids are Crisp and the highs are clear. I will keep on purchasing Sonos!

I love these little speakers, a pair of them can really fill a room with great sound. I first heard a pair of these at a friend's house and fell in love with them. I also love their controller app that I can link my Pandora, Slacker, and other music files all together and play on my Sonos.

The sound quality and versatility is second to none. I've purchased other blue tooth streaming devices including Bose and have not been as excited as I am about the Sonos. We use it constantly. The iPad app is extremely user friendly and easy to add devices and music options. I'm very pleased.

The set up is really easy. The software is cool. We really like the speakers. We bought two of the most basic speakers and 1 of the mid-level speaker. We will get more as our budget allows. We found them to be a great value.

I have been slowly building my Sonos system. The play1's were the final piece. I'm very happy with the sound quality. I've had many high end surround systems over the years, the Sonos sounds just as good as anything I've ever owned, I'd highly recommend Sonos!

Love the Play 1. Started off with just one, then bought the second. Now considering adding a sub and a play bar. Sound is great, much better than other wireless speakers. I like that it's over the wi-fi rather than Bluetooth. You can still take calls or texts and music isn't interrupted.

We have been looking for a way to get music to our living room without wire, and decided to give Sonos a try. We're hooked. The setup was easy, and the sound of these two Sonos 1 speakers is amazing. Even the less technical members of the household are now enjoying playing music.

This is the most recent purchase I have made of Sonos equipment. I have 4 JBL floor speakers using the Connect. I have a Playbar and 3 1s. If you like music you have to get this system. Easy to setup and use. 5 stars.
