Best sound I have had out of a speaker. Love how easy it is to use and set up. Sound fills the room.

Set-up is a breeze, and the sound is awesome. The fact that you don't need any other audio equipment (amp, pre-amp, etc.) means more of the budget can go towards the real issue - creating great sound. The Sonos app is also easy and pulls together streaming sources into one place.

In the middle of my basement gym project, which was to transform the mechanical room into a home gym, it dawned on me, no gym is complete without a good sound system. In the mechanical room, however, there was a shortage of available outlets and I didn’t want to have exposed wiring. I decided Sonos wireless was the way to go. My requirements were: good power, so I can crank up the volume and dynamic sound so you can appreciate all types of bass pumping workout music. The Play5 to date has not disappointed. Just one Play5 sounds incredible full throughout the listening spectrum. And it has enough power that you can crank this puppy up without noticeable distortion. Very happy with this decision. The Sonos interface is easy to use and compatible with a lot of streaming music providers. Amazing how you can have better workouts with great sounding music pumping. The Play5 is very capable and does not disappoint.

Sonos is the best. No hassle with wire and the sound quality is excellent. I have an older system with wires that are everywhere. Every tie I move it's a nightmare to set it up. With the wireless solos speaker it so easy. I would not go back to a wired system.

My husband and I wanted a sound system for our family room and kitchen. This is great because it is controlled with my iPhone and computer. You can listen to radio stations as well. The sound is very very good. We got the large one for our family room and the smaller one for our kitchen. You can control them separately or together. You can also add to the system.

I have never bought a product easier to use once you have finished the initial setup. I have purchased Play-fi speakers in the past but decided to stay with the Sonos Play5 because the software is better. The sound is surprisingly good also. Much more bass than you would expect.

I added the Play 5 to my existing play 3s and it has made a world of difference. I am using the speakers in my business in a space that is 12,000 sq ft and the volume of sound put out is amazing. I love the wireless capabilities and I can adjust everything from my phone. These are a must have.

Love the easy set up and Full, Rich sound of the Sonos Play 5. With WiFi communication, this speaker is easily controlled via Sonos App, and I can listen to my music on this, while the TV sound pumps through the other Sonos speakers, by one touch on my IPad!

These speakers have the most amazing sound and fill my entire house with music. No buzzing or rattling from the bass. Just good clean sound. Definitely recommend. They are a bit pricier then their competition but the quality absolute knocks the competition away! JUST BUY IT!

Simple setup, great sound, easy to operate and they look nice. Music fills our home day and night now without any interruptions. I have have had family members that I consider to be audiophiles compliment me on the system. Really pleased with the product.

This speaker system is truly wonderful. Hooks up and connects thru wifi out of the box in seconds and no wires. Download the app and you are good to go. I thought I would need a stereo pair but after careful listening, decided against it. I have to keep opening my eyes in astonishment to realize that i'm hearing only one speaker. The sound stage is wide and has depth. Say hello to a Sonos wireless future in every room in my home!

I was interested in full and consistent sound for my entire house. I had looked into putting in wired speakers, but I've done that before and it is a lot of work and the costs add up very fast. I did some internet searches for wireless solutions and it seems that keeping multiple wireless speakers in sync is a bit of a trick. I came across the Sonos system and it seemed like a fairly simple solution. I first got a smaller Play 1 speaker for my bathroom. It worked well, had good sound, and I liked the interface, so I got a Play 3 for my kitchen. The multi-speaker controls delivered as promised, so I got a Play 5 for my living room. It has bigger sound and fills the room well. I've had the system for a bit over a month and I am enjoying it very much.

This speaker has great sound and the sonos ap makes it so easy to add more speakers.

The sound is great and set up is very very easy, a non technical person will have no problems.

The Sonos Play 5 is the perfect accompaniment to my Tidal Hi-Fi music streaming account. Hearing Tidal’s uncompressed music through these expertly crafted and tuned speakers is simply nirvana. Any discerning audiophile will appreciate the sound purity offered by the Play 5s. I love them so much that this is my second Play 5 purchase. These are a definite sound investment - pun intended!
