This speaker is great and the software Sonos has is the best out right now! It sounds even better after a week or so depending on how much you use it because the speakers need to be broke in. This is the second play 5 I have purchased and plan on purchasing more in the future. The play 5 is totally worth every penny!

I had done quite a bit of research before deciding on the PLAY:5. The PLAY:5 kept coming out on top so I decided to purchase and what a great idea that was. The build quality is excellent. Very hefty and it was very well packaged. Setup was a breeze after downloading the app. I’ve been blown away by the sound quality, a very rich, full sound, super crisp with a nice amount of bass. Audio settings can be adjusted via the app so the user can dial in what sounds best to their ears. I’m considering purchasing a second to use as a R and L pair but the sound of one of these speakers is fantastic. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Looked at a lot of speakers of this type and none come close to the sound quality you get from this speaker. Sonos is always making improvements to their products and all you need to do is install the updates when they become available. This speaker sells itself all you need to do is listen.

Sonos is the easiest piece of technology I've ever used. If you can login to your email (or your Spotify account), you can use it. If you buy more speakers, you just plug them in, tap a few buttons on your phone, and you're done. Literally just a few buttons. I am not even kidding about this. The Play:5... how to put this... I don't think I'd ever heard music at home before. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch and I'm a little mad that I let myself buy one. You can feel the bass even when songs are quiet. Yes, that's right - songs apparently have a bass line even if they are not annoying your neighbors. Who knew? Now I do. I can't un-know that. So you've been warned.

Purchased one of these from Best Buy and also another Play:5 and Sub from another vendor. The sound from the Play5 is amazing. I actually sit and listen to albums I haven’t listened to in years over again so I can hear different parts of the song. Definitely recommend the Play5.

This speaker has better quality than any sound bar i have ever had, The ease of set up and multiple uses is amazing.hihgly recommend. The bass is deep and the trebles crystal clear.

Really terrific sound quality! Easy to setup with the Sonos app which has you playing your music in no time. Having a few challenges with the app - not always playing an entire album through for example - but that says more about the app then the speaker. Great size and design of the speaker as well.

Installed in less than 15 minutes. The sound is great and the app easily lets you switch between TV, Stereo an Internet music. System allows for wireless add on of additional speakers.

This was our 3rd Sonos purchase. We now have 2 original play 5s, a play bar, a sub, 2 play 1s, and 2 next generation play 5s. These next generation play 5s are exceptional. We had a party and our guests were amazed at the full sound the new play 5s delivered. They are pricy but worth every penny.

Much fuller sound and easy set up. Love the ability to set up the whole home sound. While you pay a little more, it’s worth it.

I purchased two play 5 Gen 2's to add to my playbar and sub "yes you can do this" and it works great, only drawback is the playbar it's self not having HDMI support but this review is for the play 5 which is an excellent product!

This, to me is the best Sonos speaker. Great sound with excellent bass. Set up is super easy and the Sonos app functionality is very great.

Very impressed with the sound. Highs are clean. I am very surprised with how low this speaker goes. No wires to deal with. Definitely recommend buying.

Don't be fooled by size. This speaker fills a room and competes in sound quality with large freestanding speakers if not exceeds. Very simple to connect to Sonos app and to use.

Plays good sound. Easy setup. The speaker continued playing music even after my wife left with her phone. She was playing the music from her phone

The best speakers out there. The music is good even at high volume with a good balance between bass and clarity. The only drawback is that it won't work with Bluetooth but once you get it setup and start using the app it should full most of your audio needs.

This speaker is by far one of the best speakers I have owned. Sonos knows how to make a great sounding and looking speaker. If you don’t believe me, Best Buy has the play 5 to demo them, you won’t be disappointed. Very easy to use, you just download the app, create an account, register the product and your good to go. The Sonos app has everything you listen too, Apple Music, Spotify, iheart radio, tune-in and much more. Definitely recommend to anyone who is in the market for buying a new speaker.

the bass on this system is so smooth , sound is crisp, the packaging is even " next level" set up was so incredibly easy. I am thrilled

The sound is terrific, now only if I could turn them up loud without my neighbors complaining, I have (2)play 5s and a sub and a connect for my older Yamaha receiver and klipsche speakers, and it sounds great, I have music streaming all over my house...

This peice sound like a hole house audio system with more base and half the price no cutting and putting in speaker at 300 a pair and the cost of wire and installation
