This speaker wasn't enough for me so I purchased two. I have since added a Sonos Play:3 as well. These speakers are so crisp and I keep finding new ways to utilize them. I have them directly wired though for better throughput for sound but you can pair them up and fine tune them with the iOS app.

I initially bought one of these, and soon thereafter bought a second. The sound isn't as good as a receiver-driven tower speaker, but it's pretty good. The unit has surprisingly good bass for something that easily fits on a bookshelf. I really like the Sonos app, and the seamless setup and control of my system.

Had a pair of play 3s in LR - upgraded to play 5 for deep rich sound. Also use for TV. No complaints

Room filling, full sound. Works flawlessly with my wifi, my iPhone and other SONOS speakers. Couldn't be happier.

Guys this speaker rocks...base, quality of sound and all. It got a little tricky but sometimes I believe the phone I was using to setup was going in circles, I switched to the ipad and it registered the product seamlessly.... I love it, music all over my house on demand when I want it

The Sonos 5 was an addition to my growing collection. I'm a huge Sonos fan and the Sonos 5 did not disappoint. Great sound and the setup is so easy. Hook it up to any number of music sources - Spotify, Pandora, ITunes - and you can virtually play anything anywhere in your house.

Sonos is very good. I love the bluetooth, hands free, wire free concept and the sound of the system is amazing.

I bought one of these a while ago, and I just bought another one for my son. The sound is rich and easily fills a large room. The system is easy to operate, and I cant think of one complaint for the product. I love the touch controls, and I can't wait to pair this with other speakers

I recently added my 2nd Play 5 to my existing system (playbar/subwoofer) but upstairs this time. Love the continuous sound up/down stairs. Next up...another Play 5 (gen 2) in the MBR to complete the sound throughout the house! I have two old school systems in my home (turntable etc in my mancave & an 80's cd/receiver in my game room) that include Infinity/Sony/Bose speakers that still sound great but the new school technology that enables continuous high quality sound throughout a good size home is awesome! I am so pleased with the Sonus system that was strongly recommended by two of my tech friends! Tip, if you are considering two Play 3's vs a Play 5, go with the 5...it is cheaper & the sound coming out that single box is excellent. Once you group the speakers to get the continuous music throughout your home you will love the sound, that is if you truly appreciate high quality sound at both high & low volumes!! Good Luck. I just wish you could use the Sonus system off a second TV without having to purchase a second playbar. :^(

Added this to a play 1 speaker I already had. While the play 1 is a good speaker this one blows that one away.

My whole house is wired with Sonos products and this speaker is the best speaker I've ever owned.

The Sonos play 5 is the largest and best sounding of the Sonos line. I frequently find myself using it alone.

I bought a number of the Sonos speakers including the Play 5, Play 3 and Play 1 to have sound throughout the house. Not only do the speakers sound great as expected, but the setup and iPhone control work well. It is the both the sound quality and ease of use that make this a great product!

I have been very pleased with my Sonos players. I think the Play 5 sounds good and I like the feature to be able to plug into some of my older devices and play through the system. I still have times that I lose the internet connection, but I'm working on that!

It’s the perfect system for my condo. The sound fills the whole first floor. Sry clear sound.

added this to an existing Sonos system and this was a great addition. Quite a bit more than the standard Sonos speakers but packs a punch when you want it to. Looks beautiful on the counter too. Very happy with this unit!

We are a Bose family for sure, but decided to step out of our comfort zone and try this. WOW!!!!! LOVE the sound and the ease of set up and use is 100% amazing! Set up was super easy literally took me 3 minutes. Another 2 to group to smaller speakers DONT DOUBT, TRY IT OUT!!!!

Outstanding speaker but I would probably purchase the Sonos sound bar first and a Sonos 1 instead of the Sonos 5.

As the title states, the sound quality is great. The set up of the speaker and the app were both very easy. Couldn't be happier to have this wifi speaker in the house. Pairs easy with other Sonos speakers and groups easy as well when you want whole house sound instead of room by room sound!
