I purchased the speaker as a gift and they love the sound....it really fills a room!

I am a huge music person and am always on the prowl for better quality at high volumes. Sonos has ended my search. It is absolutely insane how great these speakers are. The setup was even a fun experience. I love how they operate off of wifi versus Bluetooth. The sound quality at any level delivers. I thought they were a bit pricey but after I got my play 5 working, every penny spent was well worth it. My next purchase will be the sonos sound bar and subwoofer for my tv. I also intend on placing more play 5's throughout my house. It's super neat how they operate and can play different music in different rooms at the same time. I have never been this excited about how well a single speaker performs. My goal is to have everyone I know to be able to experience and feel the way I do when these baby's are fired up! Look no further, sonos is the answer!

I went back and forth on whether to go wireless or not with the Sonos system. I am glad we purchased the Play 5 Wireless Speaker. Sounds great and love being able to control it with the other speakers in the house all on one application on my phone.

This is a very high quality speaker and the sound is amazing! I ended up purchasing several of these for various rooms throughout the house. And the ease of set up was excellent and couldn’t have been more intuitive.

Two Play 5's do a nice job of filling a large room with great sound. Later, I purchased a Playbar and a Sub. Switches between TV mode and Music mode nicely. Setup is fairly straight forward. A little expensive, but worth the price for the flexibility.

The Sonos Play 5 speaker is easy to set up. It delivers rich sound and clarity at all volume levels. My first Sonos purchase was the play bar, sub and play 1 rear speaker surround system. Nothing compares to the sound quality in wireless speakers.

We bought play5 for music steaming in our living room, It gives us the ability to play music through out our home. We are very happy with the quality of sound, we play a lot of easy listening jazz and the base is deep and clear.

Easy set up, plug in follow instructions and pop its on your network. hardest part was remembering all the passwords to connect your music services to the SONUS app! great sound, easy to use app and it optimizes for the placement in the room.

I would highly recommend this product. It's worth every penny. The sound is phenomenal and you can sync so many more speakers to this one device. Easily pairs with devices and then once you've paired you can leave it alone and take your device with you.

After purchasing a Sonos Play 3 for our home, the Play 5 was the logical addition for our needs. Stunning sound with deep rich base, mid range sound and highs too. A wide variety of music is played on both speakers. Absolutely worth the purchase!!

Personally, I think the acoustics are better than any Bose I’ve heard.

outstanding speaker that was so easy to set up, everything worked as claimed and was easy to get on the network. I think the hardest part was tying in my music sources and remembering all the passwords! Speaker sounds great with deep bass.

I have my entire first floor and 1 bedroom filled with Sonos speakers. This purchase was my first second gen Play:5 and it is a great speaker. I have put one in my dining room and am using the line in feature for my record player and the other is in the office, again using the line in for the computer sound and I have that one wired to the home network so that Sonos created its own wifi network to minimize traffic on the router's wifi. When I'm streaming music, it is great to move from room to room seamlessly. The sound quality of this is significantly better than my first gen play:5. I still prefer the sound of setting up two Play Ones in a speaker pair to a single Play:5, but the line in option really made the difference in my application.

Was the first Sonos product I purchased and was impressed with the quality of sound, especially being wireless. Setup was easy and always works when I hit play. Expensive but worth it for the sound quality and flexibility to place anywhere.
