IMO and many others this speaker blows any other setup like this away. Bose doesnt stand a chance. We just added 2 play 1's today and it's amazing sounding. Easy to setup and great build quality.

great addition to the house. speaker sounds unbelievable and is easy to move anywhere easily.

Clear sound and super lows. Best for use in larger rooms that you want to crank up a bit to really have the bass notes come through. EASY setup (seriously took me 2mins of hassle free).

I was blown away by the excellant room filling sound. Pairs very well with the sonos sound bar and another play 5 to complete an audiophile worthy Dolby 5.1 setup for t movies.

I have to say I would give Sonos 5 stars as this speaker is as good as I have heard. However, not adding Bluetooth capability is simply a mistake. It makes the product easier to use and more versatile....period. Still this is a very nice speaker with great sounds and in my personal opinion is far superior to Bose. (which I also own)

I bought Sonos play 5 for my living room, I was so impressed by it's sound. It's a bit pricey but worth the price. You will not be disappointed. I plan on getting the other Sonos for my bedroom and kitchen.

This speaker sits on a book shelf (just need a plug) and you're rocking. Incredible sound, that is controlled wirelessly. Just make sure you have enough bandwidth if you're going to get several speakers.

Discovering Sonos relatively recently has changed the way I listen to music. The sound quality of the Play5 is amazing and the ease of setup, use and whole home integration makes this an amazing product.

Picked up this speaker and it is quite impressive. It is very clear and does a great job of filling the room with surround sound - you cant tell the sound is coming from one direction like other speakers

For those rooms that are larger than a standard 10x10 or where other noises exist, the Play 5 is recommended. I have this in my sitting room and it's just the right way to have my guests hear music

The speaker is a great addition to my living areas. My Sonos speakers are of excellent quality and connect seamlessly to my Alexa app allowing me quick access to all of my music.

the Play:5 is a fantastic addition to my SONOS collection. Great sounding, even though I only have 1 of them. I can imagine how good this sounds with a pair in stereo.

Almost purchased the Bose Wave system but friend asked me to review SONOS instead. Sound is as big or as small as you want. Great access to music channels and ability to go iPod/Touch etc with latest version.

Bought a second Play 5 to create a stereo pair for the Great Room. While the Gen2 Play 5s need a little more volume to get full sound then the Gen1, the stereo pair sounds great.

Sonos Play:5 is by far the best speaker on the market in terms of sound quality, construction and features. Add two of these to your Playbar and Sub and your house will be rocking!

Great, heavy duty speakers that when combined as a stereo set are high quality. Even used in mono mode sound great. The software is exceptional and allows me to place them in just about every room.

Sonos is great. It’s architecture allows you to easily expand system. This is my third expansion to my sonos speakers. Seamless sound and easy to expand new speakers.
