Only thing the salesman forgot to tell us when we purchased the sound bar is that there is no remote. It's all through your wifi or phone. So make sure you have wifi or a smartphone before purchasing.

I bought my first SONOS Play 5 many years ago and now have two Play-5's, two Play-1's, connect for the home theater system and two Soundbars. The Soundbar automatically switches between the TV and music just by turning on the TV or turning on the SONOS app on your phone. Great sound perfectly synchronized throughout the house. Easy to setup and I've never had any problems. Integrates with all the music apps/services and I also have it linked in with my computer harddrive that has all my purchased music.

Easy to set up and mount under my tv. The sound is amazing, really completing my surround sound experience.

This is an expensive speaker... Once you get over that, if you are going to get into Sonos, you may as well go all in. It sounds great and switches between TV and music easily. If you are only looking for a sound bar for TV you can find better value, but it's a great component in our growing Sonos system!

Great sound, I wish it had a Bluetooth option as cannot easily get orher peoples music on to the speaker

The sound is superb and the set up is simple. I do recommend you get the subwoofer with it as well for best high and low tones.

Was in the market for a quality sound bar and couldn't be more pleased with sonos. I previously owned a pair play1s and the sound bar works great with them. I just didnt want to waste $200-300 on a below average product and am so glad I purchased the Sonos.

I bought this sound bar with the rest of my Sonos system (two play 3's, a sub-woofer, and this sound bar) to use as in home theater mode in my bedroom, to listen to music as I'm walking around the house, and to provide sound for the HTC Vive instead of wearing headphones. When I say this fills the house without being overbearingly loud to me or without my neighbors wanting to call the police, I mean it. Walking around the house means going down the stairs that wrap around a corner to the ground level of the house, where the kitchen and dining room are set behind yet another series of walls and with a room between the stairs and the kitchen / dining room adjoined rooms. Even with all of that, I hear every note in every song I've listened to as if I was sitting in my room - instead of where I really am, which is 10 feet below and 25 feet in the opposite direction of where the speakers are pointed (at the back of the house where they point to the front in the center of my room). I've always liked sound bars, but didn't like how much you'd pay for a mid-tier performing device. The Sonos Playbar completely changed how I think about them, reaffirming my preference completely. The Sonos Playbar is wonderful when paired to a Sonos Sub and two Play 3's, but even on its own, this sound bar will fill the house completely and make you wonder why you didn't just buy this instead of whatever setup you had before. The Playbar's naturally provided bass is incredible, even if it isn't quite at the level a Sonos Sub brings it to (as it should be), and the range of tones this bar projects perfectly will shock you. Don't get another 5.1 system that you won't be happy with in a year or two. Go to a store, test a Sonos Playbar, and feel the difference.

I was very skeptical purchasing this Soundbar. I purchased a different Soundbar to start a 7.1 system a year ago. That soundbar was as expensive as the Sonos, and sounded great for movies, but was HORRIBLE playing music. I am not an audio expert, but the music sounded like the cheapest stereo you could buy. I returned that system, and figured I was done with soundbars. I read great reviews about Sonos, so I decided to give it a try, and am glad I did. The sound is incredible no matter what I play. I highly recommend this product.

I can't believe I use to listen to the audio from my Samsung 65" TV. I use to struggle to hear the voices in some TV shows, but now with this amazing sounding soundbar, I can hear thing very clearly, and play music all the time with the other Sonos speakers I have purchased. If you are considering getting a soundbar and are not sure if you need one, get this, you won't regret it, especially if you aspire to eventually have full-house sound! Love Sonos!

We recently purchased the SONOS stereo system consisting of the play bar, four P1 speakers and two P3 speakers. Now we can listen to music in any room of our house and the kids love being able to pair their rooms together. Quality is great. Takes up a lot of WIFI signal though so make sure you have very strong WIFI.

Sounds great! Was fairly easy to hook up, and really sounds great! And I like that I can add speakers to the system and to my home

I bought this in conjunction with the subwoofer and owned a pair of sonos1s I used as surround sound and I'm loving it

I have a bunch of Sonia speakers and the entire system works great and looks awesome. Now just how to hide power cables.

I bought this soundbar about a month ago, it was so easy to set up and it' sounds great. I can't wait to get the sub woofer to enhance the experience.

Bought a open box and was a little leary, but well worth it. These speakers sound so clear. Music has never sounded so good. Easy setup.

Sounds awesome!!! Much better than the cheap one we had before! I guess you get what you pay for. It is a little pricey, but I am very pleased.

The soundbar fills the entire room with clear, crisp sound. It costs a little more than what I wanted to spend, but, in the end, very happy with it.

I'm using the Playbar with two surround speakers. I am using a wi-fi range extender that has confused the system a couple of times and I've had to reconnect my mobile app to the system. Also, I would prefer to have a basic remote control option for less technical family members or guests who want to use the system for tv watching. That is a real gap...the babysitter had no audio.

Overall the sound is pretty good from the playbar unless the bass is turned up. I enjoy listening to all music and I like to turn it up loud. I noticed with this playbar you MUST turn the bass down when you turn the volume up. I actually had Best Buy come out and replace my first playbar, Which they were more than willing to do, and the tech said he had never heard one malfunction like that. Basically when the volume is up and the bass is set to mid power or more every time a bass note hits the rest of the sound mutes down and gets muddy sounding. The new playbar is doing the same thing and the only reason I am sticking with it for another week or so is I plan to add the sub to see if this problem is eliminated. I do like the ease of use and the ability to operate things through the free app but bass should be better from a $700 soundbar.
