5 stars for the great sound quality and build quality. I love that my TV sits on top of the Playbase. This is a neater installation than if I had to place a Playbar in front of the TV. Operation with Alexa is weak - easy to play my Amazon content, but Alexa doesn't always respect my command to play it on the Sonos.

Whoever looking for simple all-in-one sound solution for TV.. This is it! I end up going with PC600 + Denon receiver, but that was because I wanted to have finer control over all sound level. Sound of Sonos was very impressive and the best part is sound was all pre-tuned! Highly recommended.

Easy hook up to the tv and great sound quality the price needs to come down a bit though pretty pricy

I had about 15 different Sonos products in my house. This one, by far, is the worst to network. The sound is good. But, it's a relatively large pain.

Playbase is one year old. Available in black or white. Automatically detects when you have other components near.

Amazing full sound. I own all the Bose SoundTouch 300 devices.The Sonos Playbase sounds great on its own merits.Had to buy all Bose accessories to get this good of a sound. The Playbase I can add at my leisure.Great job Sonos very surprised.only thing I would ding is lack of remote but otherwise wow.

I have this hooked up to an LG OLED65C7P it has opitcal in only no HDMI, using directv genie with dolby on resulted in lip sync issues, so onstead of all my devices going into the tv via hdmi and the sound to the sonos using the tv out opitcal i had to get a optical switch, now all device sound goes into swtich and the switch goes into the sonos. this isnt really a sonos problem probably the tv... The sonos problem is 1 input only no switching.

I did some research on this and found mixed reviews. I took the gamble and bought the unit. I like it, but I just use it as a stand alone speaker for the upstairs TV and rest of my Sonos stuff in the mancave. No regrets buying it, I'm guessing it would be pretty sweet paired with other speakes.

I have this speaker plugged into my router... Never have problems... I waited two years to buy the sub... I’m, glad I did...got it on sale... The two speakers are more than enough for a living room tv... Both movies and music sound pretty good before the setup

Sonos Playbase with 2 Satellite PlayOne provide a most simple install and incredible results. My favorite AV purchase makes me want to re-watch content just to experience surround sound. Only knock is the Sonos inability to handle DTS audio formats which are common in 4K content.

I LOVE this , its under my console and the sound fills the room like my old 7.1 system....... If you can handle the price then you will be very happy and glad you went with this..... Nice remote via your phone lets you control from there plus play I heartradio music .... again well worth it......

The sonos base has terrific, clear sound, and a very low profile. The sonos app is easy to use, although by using the optical cable it now makes the TV volume uncontrollable by my normal TV remote (I need to use the Apple TV one instead). Still, it adds high quality sound to my big screen TV.

The Sonos PlayBase has been the best thing I've purchased for my living room. Excellent sound quality, easy setup, great for watching tv and listening to music with other Sonos speakers. Will definitely be purchasing more for my other TV's. Amazing quality as always, keep it up Sonos!

Most sound bars are 3-5” high and most TV’s are only a couple of inches above the deck. Most sound bars are up above the bottom of the screen. Mine not only sits below it but I actually put it under the tv stand. And the sound and performance are better than any I’ve ever had!

Sounds great, works awesome when adding into an already established Sonos environment. When using the optical input, you don't even have to think about turning it on... worked seamlessly with my TV right after a 5 minute setup

The playbase is great if you have a tv stand with not much room for playback. Sound is great but wished I waited a few more weeks to purchase and I would have known about the arc when it was announced. Probably buy one of those too.

Sonos obviously is a leader in sound quality in my opinion but now it gives you the quality within one unit which can be a TV stand or set by itself, No having to drill holes in the wall, spacing problems etc. It is amazing!!
