The sound the base the look. I have the play bar as well but this is on another level. Add the play ones an it’s crazy. Sonos speaks for itself

i am using the playbase with Sub and surround speakers (Sonos One) in 5.1 configuration. The sound quality is very good for Music, Movies, TV and Gaming (Xbox)

One of the best soundbars in my opinion. If don't want to invest in sub woofer and surround speakers and just the soundbar, this serves the purpose to the best.

This was great for our TV as we were able to put the TV right on top of it and it wasn't in the way. The sound quality is fantastic too.

This Sonos sound base is perfect for me. Love the sound so far and now think this summer to buy a sub woofer and speakers to add and complete my system

Got this sound base to replace a sound bar. This sounds great, and was super easy to set up. The bar sounded amazing to begin with, this just steps it up a notch.

Love the low profile of this thing, and it connects perfectly to other Apple AirPlay speakers so I can have my music in the whole house!

Awesome bass and sound. Nice that you can add speakers to it. It is expensive but great quality and the fact you can add to your speakers is awesome

I have the playbar, sub, and the play 1's for rears in my family room, but I wanted the playbase for my bedroom and i am very very pleased. Sonos is the way to go.

i set up this playbase for an older television that has a perfect picture but horrible volume. i didn't have the space for a playbar so the playbase fit perfectly under the television's pedestal base. i am very happy with this use for the playbase. BUT.... if you want to set up this playbase as a part of a home theater system and you want true 5.1 sound...DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING! confirm that your television's optical port is set to pass DD 5.1. my television did not and i had to spend extra $$$ on additional hardware to watch blu-ray DTS coded movies in 5.1.

The proper choice for the family, including the kids. Perhaps would have considered opting for the playbar if I had set up prior to finalizing the decision.

It's got a great sound for. both audio and movies. I loved it very much. the only thing it only uses optical fiber cable, doesn't have cdmi ports. When watching a movie you can clearly hear the glasses breaking. I would recommend it to a friend

This sound bar is just plug and play and has great sound! Way better than the Bose we used to have. We are very happy with this product and would buy it again!

I replace by sonos sound bar with the sonos sound base. The sound is quite better and has a more of a 3D effect.

Such a wonderful purchase. This speaker system works with Bluetooth and iTunes and other products to play music and sounds excellent with movies.

Love this. We use to have surround sound system, after remodeling and getting a new tv we settled on this and love it.

It had been a while since my surround system quite and I was not sure about the optical only connection but I love the speaker and the entire sonos system

Matched with a pair of one’s... this unit is amazing! First movie I watched was Deepeater Horizon!!... incredible sound!... well worth the money!!
