Purchased this for my bedroom TV. The sound fills the room and is a great addition to my sonos setup!

Excellent alternative to a bar. Base is plenty, but since its a Sonos, can upgrade however you wish!

The best sound bar on the market. There are no shortage of sound bars, but this one is the best. I understand that is expensive, but it was worth every penny in my opinion. I have this paired with two play 1’s movies sound as good as any movie theater I’ve ever been in.

Due to where and how my TV is set up .... The Sonos play base worked out great . Great , clear sound , easy set up , and when I paired my play 1s , I had a great surround system . Music sounds great on the play base as well .

So, I have owned both Sonos Playbar and now the Sonos Playbase (which just replaced the Playbar). I owned the Playbar for about 4 years and absolutely loved it. The reason I replaced the Playbar was because we switched to a wall cabinet system which no longer allowed me to wall mount the Playbar. So, at first, I tried to use the Playbar sitting flat in front of the TV. I just didn't sound the same anymore. The Playbar sounded better than the Playbase when it was installed on the wall. Not sure if the wall gave the sound some extra richness and base...but it was noticeable. Also, the volume sound direction seemed off on the Playbar when we had it sitting flat on the cabinet...may be due to the directional speakers? The Playbase is awesome for the tabletop installation we have now. It has great base and good highs but does lack a little in the middle. Overall happy with our switch for our installation.

Cool product. Love that I can put my TV on it. Sonos has the best sound. Highly recommend.

To get the full effect there is a need for additional speakers but otherwise great product

I love this thing and will only be adding more from the Sonos family to compliment this base unit. Cool crisp sound without a subwoofer or any other speakers to compliment it. Takes up very little space as well compared to the sound it puts out.

This was a great addtion to my new 65” OLED. Great sound to go with a great picture.

Got playbase and some Sonos surround speakers. All work great and sound much better.

The Bass is really good for a base. You feel like you don't even need a subwoofer.

This has become my first choice in tv sound for small rooms - we use these stand alone... for media rooms we pair them with the sub and play one as surrounds. Great balance of dialogue and music, effects... we use Apple TV linked to these to add airplay in option.

I don't have a wall mounted television, so this was an amazing option! Such amazing sound, and such amazing sound! Debating on the sonos sub, but this adds some amazing bass! Love it with the rest of my sonos system!

Great sound bar. Kinda expensive but all the apps u get makes up the difference.

Sonos beats every. Great bass great sound quality. Great for music and movies

I love the sound. Sports, music, and movies. Doesn't come with remote must download app. This is the only drawback but not an major issue for me.

Absolutely love thus. Our new smart tv is connected so we can use with that as well as the sonos app which dramatically changed how we enjoy music. Love that tv fits on top instead of having soundbar that blocks bottom of screen.
