Ive always loved Sonos — I had a full surround system in my movie room, so I decided to get one of their soundbars for another room. The sound itself is great. It gets very loud, which I actually love, and when it’s working, it fills the room perfectly. But the problem is consistency. It will randomly stop playing in the middle of my music, even when I’m right in the middle of enjoying it. I tried resetting it multiple times, but the issue kept happening. AirPlay hasn’t been great either, it’s spotty and unreliable. Overall, I still love the brand, but this particular soundbar didn’t live up to the experience I expected. Hence the 3 star rating.

This sound bar works wonderfully! My husband and I purchased this about 9 months ago and we've had zero complaints. Its size is no indication to the sound it's capable of. It sounds great and is easy to use. The lack of a remote can be a little annoying, but the app is simple and can be controlled when you aren't home which is convenient. Definitely recommend this!

Compared to other AIO soundbars in the price range... The quality here was noticeably different.

THis sound bar is a game changer for my new TV! THe set up and the app are easy to setup and use. I especially like the fact that I can stream my audio content from my devices to the sound bar. It has almost negated the need for having a separate stereo system, but not quite. I also like the fact that the current TV and sound bar technology has reduced the amount of cable barf needed to hook things up.

Compact but fills in the room with crisp dialogue. Can build into a system with the sub and other speakers. Best pro to me is you could easily switch between the Sonos Ace and Ray sound bar as it is compatible for switching seamlessly.

It was good until it wasn’t. I recently bought Sonos era 300 and for some reason it does not pair well with it, I wish i knew sooner but the overall quality is good for it’s price.

Love it! I have a total of 6 speakers, a Beam, a sub woofer, and now the Ray. The surround sound is simply amazing. Now for a mini sub to go with the Ray.

A great buy for the price point, especially as an entry soundbar the upgrade from your TVs speakers is truly crazy to hear. The bar also looks beautiful and is small enough to fit in compact spaces. I returned mine for the beam gen 2 after doing a bit more research, but for this price if you arent wanting to drop the $500, you cant beat it.

Great little soundbar even without a woofer. My only complaint right off the bat was the optical cable was DOA that came with it. Plugged it all in and audio kept going in and out. Realized the cable didn't want to sit flush in either the bar or the tv, grabbed my original previous optical cable and fit snug and audio sounded great after that. So far very, very much enjoy this, went from a polk soundbar setup to this and sad to say the quality just seems to be better. Plan to get a woofer for this eventually, just expensive!

Very happy with this sound bar. I got it for my computer to use as a speaker set up and it does not disappoint. I got it at a good price, Sonos is pricey but I am all in on their products. I recommend getting the MiniSub with it (I already had one so it pairs nicely) but overall, this is a great addition to my home office. I can play videos on the desktop or listen to music in the whole house. Only drawback is it only connects to fiber...I bought a basic hdmi to fiber converter to connect it.

Purchased Sonos Ray Soundbar for a few reasons: 1) price 2) needed compact soundbar for corner entertainment center 3) better sound than some higher priced ones! Makes SUCH a difference paired with my LG tv. So easy to use tv remote to adjust soundbar volume. Plus, Best Buy had this on sale within (2) mos. of purchase, so I got PRICE MATCH !

I love the Sonus Ray soundbar. The sound is very clear and you can pair it with your TV remote for easy use. The staff at Best Buy were were very helpful in my decision to buy this product. Great pice as well.

The sound is very good. Easy setup and integration with Apple Music. I received this a day before my tv and couldn’t wait to get everything connected. It connected well through the optic connection and sounds great. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK WITH MY REMOTE!!! I don’t have a IR remote. Won’t work. I grabbed a old IR remote and that controls the volume. So I’m back to the two remote challenge. I’ll put up with it because I love how it sounds.

Best sounding soundbar I've ever owned. Truly phenomenal sound for such a small package and reasonable price (esp. if you get it on sale). My only issue is that there is no HDMI input and the Optical input doesn't allow you to control the volume with the TV remote on newer TVs. Volume control works great with my 10 year old Samsung TV remote but not my 2 year old LG TV remote (I have to open the Sonos app to control the TV volume).

Great entry level sound bar for a smaller living room or apartment. The voice clarity is pristine and the low-end is exceptional for a soundbar this small. Music sounds really really nice on it and I'm not quite an audiophile but I do appreciate high quality music and this fits in nicely for the price. Just keep in mind this sound bar only connects with SPDIF fiber audio cable, it does NOT support eARC with HDMI so you'll need to make sure you have a universal remote for your tv (my samsung tv remote is universal).

Pretty simple to get going and connect most TV remotes to. It takes the optical sound cable and is pretty much plug and play. It has a night mode and speech enhancement for when you want to hear things but not have them be too loud. It is perfect for the bedroom with its more compact size than its larger counterparts.

Very good product and a good value. I needed a sound bar for my daughters TV and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. I was familiar with the other Sonos offerings but not this one as it is new. I was very pleased with the sound quality and ease of installation. In fact, I later paired it with a Sonos sub and a couple of extra Play:1's to form a home theatre setup. Very pleased. Just know, no HDMI ARC input like the Beam, only optical digital. But not a deal breaker for me.

This was my first experience with any type of Sonos speaker. I wanted a relatively good speaker for the smart TV in my home, one that would have excellent voice, quality, as well as great sound for music. I leaned on the reputation of this brand and got an excellent price during Black Friday, cyber Monday. Set up was super easy and connected to my television and television remote with no issues the ability to adjust the sound for the room and utilize an equalizer was pretty fantastic. I’m not interested in using my phone as a remote but that is an option. The sound is pretty good I wouldn’t say spectacular but I also didn’t spend $1000 on a sound bar so, it was what I was expected and maybe a little better. The only problem I had was it is sitting in front of the television on a glass top table and playing the music at half volume caused the speaker to vibrate right off of the table. I am going to have to come up with a fix for that. The voice quality and music quality is pretty good on this unit.

It works seamlessly with the TV speakers. The dialogue enhancements feature improves the tv watching. The sound quality is excellent.
