Soundbar soinds great and is pretty easy to install. However, the phone app is useless. Most of the time it neverr recognizes the soundbar and you cannot control the sound from your phone. Trust me, I’ve tried everything so spare me the “have you trieds”

Just purchased the Sonos sound bar & couldn’t be happier. Great sound! Have several Sonos One speakers that I love. Very easy to set up & connect to my other speakers & I am tech challenged.

Great sound at a great price point. My only complaint is that it includes optical only (no HDMI). This may limit your ability to use native TV remotes. But a minor inconvenience when it comes to superior sound quality at an entry level budget.

Ive always known Sonos to be a great brand with fantastic sound quality. I was somewhat surprised when plugging in this sound bar and playing music and hearing how flat it was. You absolutely need to purchase the subwoofer for this soundbar which unfortunately costs more than the soundbar itself. Oh, and this model of soundbar has NO bluetooth. If you do not have Wifi or optical input, you cannot use the soundbar. That was pretty shocking for a soundbar at this price range. Lack of bass aside, its a pretty cool soundbar.

Picked up the Ray for our bedroom to replace an old entry level theater in a box surround system that was not doing the job anymore. Our setup is using an optical connector for audio (no eARC or HDMI out audio on older Vizio tv) so this fit the job fine. I am very familiar with nearly all Sonos products (have setup several systems for family members including Beam, Arc, Play1s etc). This soundbar is compact but has a good soundstage & separation for a 2 channel design. Vocals are clear. It could benefit from a sub (waiting for the Mini Sub to release) and will be adding a pair of OneSLs for rears at that time. Pleased with this speaker and a good price for an entry to the Sonos ecosystem. Definitely a good choice for a spare bedroom, kids room, computer audio etc. Setup was less than 10 minutes.

Compact Small foot print but sounds crisp and great. Good for a small Tom but also very loud if you add surrounds and subwoofer. Good value for this price. One downside is it doesn’t support all TV remotes.

This litttle sound bar is amazing. sounds way more awesome than the tv speakers. I’m happy full sound, bass and everything for the tv in my bedroom, couldnt ask for more

The Sonos Ray is an overall good speaker. The audio quality is great for music, though bass can be a bit lacking. As a standalone soundbar, however, there are better more affordable options for movies/surround sound. I have mine paired with two Sonos rear speakers and its adequate, but on its own you can get better sound quality from a more basic soundbar. For basic TV, news, etc. and for the Sonos integration, its a great value for the price.

WOW. I was a Bose guy until I bought this Sonos. I won’t go back to Bose. Better price, easy to use, better sound and connectable to other Sonos products in the house.

Impressive sound from an entry level soundbar. It is incredibly small for the sound it can produce. The Sonos app works seamlesly and includes Sonos Radio which has great content with awesome sound quality.

While the performance of this Sonos speaker is not at the same level of the arc or even the Sonos one, it is priced much lower, and I am extremely happy with the sound to dollars spent ratio. I am using one of these for its intended purpose in an outdoor set up as a sound bar for a 43 inch TV. It creates a rich audio experience for watching television and movies and I am surprised at the amount of base that comes out of this while it’s still presents dialogue really well. A huge bonus is that this connects to the other Sonos speakers in my house, and works really well for playing music. In fact, my second Sonos, Ray is set up in my dining room, purely as an audio streaming speaker. Sounds really great to fill in that room with audio. My only wish is that the Ray was Alexa enabled so that it was easier to control the speaker and whole house audio streaming from the locations where my Rays are located.

Ehhh no bluetooth kills this speaker... id rather bought a few more roams in its place. It sounds good and works well in the sonos ecosystem... just not versital enough for me but it was expected if you read this specs.

Such an amazing purchase. The sound and easy connection/set up is a plus. My only downside is that it’s not compatible with a lot of the new tv’s.
