Easy setup. Great sound. Small footprint. Autodetects TV input.

We added this small sound bar to the TV in our kitchen. It makes your kitchen feel like a theater room. So easy to install and we control everything from our Apple TV remote so no need for multiple remotes for content selection or volume. That’s a first for our family. We can watch traditional TV, YouTube content or music with premium sound. Feels like an elevated experience for not that large of an investment. Sometimes in life it’s the little tweaks like this purchase that seem to enhance every day living. We have been 20 year+ customers of Best Buy and Sonos. Finally replacing the complex Bose Home Theater system installed 15 years ago in the Family Room. Next week the Geek Squad guys are coming to upgrade the TV room with some Sonos love!! Stay tuned for that review. Let’s hope it feels as good as the Kitchen Media upgrade .

Love it! I have a total of 6 speakers, a Beam, a sub woofer, and now the Ray. The surround sound is simply amazing. Now for a mini sub to go with the Ray.

Improves the sound of any TV, works great for our small apartment living room. If you want to control it with your TV remote make sure your TV remote does infrared, not Bluetooth or radio frequency.

Very happy with this sound bar. I got it for my computer to use as a speaker set up and it does not disappoint. I got it at a good price, Sonos is pricey but I am all in on their products. I recommend getting the MiniSub with it (I already had one so it pairs nicely) but overall, this is a great addition to my home office. I can play videos on the desktop or listen to music in the whole house. Only drawback is it only connects to fiber...I bought a basic hdmi to fiber converter to connect it.

Excellent sound for such a small sound bar. Love that I don’t have to have a large bass box with it. Handles the sound well.

I have a 43 inch Sony TV. Most soundbars are too long for my console stand. The Sonos Ray fits perfectly in front of my TV. This is the perfect size soundbar for a smaller space. Sound quality is amazing as well. Two drawbacks, no HDMI and the TV remote only controls the soundbar when the TV is off. Not a deal breaker just minor annoyances. I am thinking about picking up a pair of Sonos One SLs or Era 100s when there is a sale.

I love the Sonus Ray soundbar. The sound is very clear and you can pair it with your TV remote for easy use. The staff at Best Buy were were very helpful in my decision to buy this product. Great pice as well.

Best sounding soundbar I've ever owned. Truly phenomenal sound for such a small package and reasonable price (esp. if you get it on sale). My only issue is that there is no HDMI input and the Optical input doesn't allow you to control the volume with the TV remote on newer TVs. Volume control works great with my 10 year old Samsung TV remote but not my 2 year old LG TV remote (I have to open the Sonos app to control the TV volume).

Pretty simple to get going and connect most TV remotes to. It takes the optical sound cable and is pretty much plug and play. It has a night mode and speech enhancement for when you want to hear things but not have them be too loud. It is perfect for the bedroom with its more compact size than its larger counterparts.

Very good product and a good value. I needed a sound bar for my daughters TV and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. I was familiar with the other Sonos offerings but not this one as it is new. I was very pleased with the sound quality and ease of installation. In fact, I later paired it with a Sonos sub and a couple of extra Play:1's to form a home theatre setup. Very pleased. Just know, no HDMI ARC input like the Beam, only optical digital. But not a deal breaker for me.

Great entry level sound bar for a smaller living room or apartment. The voice clarity is pristine and the low-end is exceptional for a soundbar this small. Music sounds really really nice on it and I'm not quite an audiophile but I do appreciate high quality music and this fits in nicely for the price. Just keep in mind this sound bar only connects with SPDIF fiber audio cable, it does NOT support eARC with HDMI so you'll need to make sure you have a universal remote for your tv (my samsung tv remote is universal).

This was my first experience with any type of Sonos speaker. I wanted a relatively good speaker for the smart TV in my home, one that would have excellent voice, quality, as well as great sound for music. I leaned on the reputation of this brand and got an excellent price during Black Friday, cyber Monday. Set up was super easy and connected to my television and television remote with no issues the ability to adjust the sound for the room and utilize an equalizer was pretty fantastic. I’m not interested in using my phone as a remote but that is an option. The sound is pretty good I wouldn’t say spectacular but I also didn’t spend $1000 on a sound bar so, it was what I was expected and maybe a little better. The only problem I had was it is sitting in front of the television on a glass top table and playing the music at half volume caused the speaker to vibrate right off of the table. I am going to have to come up with a fix for that. The voice quality and music quality is pretty good on this unit.

Sound was excellent over all for the size of this unit. It filled the bedroom with high quality surround sound. But the one draw back was that it has No remote and it wouldn't be found on Bluetooth. So without app balancing the sound, or just turning it up or down.. lets move

Worked at Best Buy for like 4 1/2 years. Toward the end of my time I started seeing Sonos advertised. From the first demo I loved it but it was always above my price point. This sound bar is a GREAT introduction to Sonos at a good price point and it blows anything you’ll get from Bose, Sony, or Samsung out of the water. Great depth of sound, easy set up, and so easy to connect devices to.

It works seamlessly with the TV speakers. The dialogue enhancements feature improves the tv watching. The sound quality is excellent.

Had this for a little over a month now and the sound is amazing! We are using this in a smaller room so we needed to conserve all the space we could. The sound is like theater quality and the bass is very good! Have used this while watching movies and playing PS5 video games and we will be purchasing Sonos brand again!
