Great sound bar. Makes TV more enjoyable. Goes well with our other entertainment features.

The sound quality of the Sonos Ray Soundbar is nothing short of remarkable. Whether the intention is to watch cinematic productions, engage in immersive gaming experiences, or indulge in musical compositions, the audio fidelity delivered by this soundbar is both captivating and articulate. The integration with Sonos's comprehensive ecosystem facilitates a seamless and intuitive user experience, allowing for easy control and flawless streaming from a wide array of sources. The only short coming is the control compatibility. I hate to have two controls.

As a fan of Sonos products it pains me to write this review. When I compare this to a similarly priced Sonos One, the Sonos Ray leaves much to be desired. The sound is just weaker in every regard despite having a larger footprint. The sound is also very directional and not enveloping. If you sit off to the side you are not going to have the most pleasant experience. I do understand the attractive entry point, but no HDMI connectivity in 2022 is unacceptable and too much of a cost cutting move. Sonos Ray gains one star for me because of the easy set up and integration to the Sonos network. A remote would have been nice as the system does not have arc or earc but not the biggest deal for tech savvy people. If you do not like the idea of using your smartphone or ipad to control volume then I'd stay away. If you plan on using this for music, I'd buy one Sonos One to begin with and then pick up another Sonos One to get full stereo experience. If you plan on using this for movies and TV - spend the extra cash and buy the Beam Gen 2, it is worthy upgrade without being as expensive as the top tier Arc version. Sadly the Sonos Ray ended up being a return for me which is a shame.

Really surprised by the sound from this Sonos entry soundbar. I already have the top and mid tier soundbars from Sonos so ineas expecting alot from the Sonos Ray and the sound didnt disappoint. Only thing i dont like is that there is no voice control capability. Being used to Sonos voice control with my other products, that was the only thing this soundbar was missing. This is a great entry soundbar from a great company. Im using it for my garage tv but can also pair the sound with other sonos speakers.

Bought this for TV after reading about very good dialog clarity. I found it no better than my ZVOX AV200, so I am returning it. Other complaints: + No remote -- must use phone + Must be 2.4MHz WiFi -- on your phone too! + You can't turn it off -- it's always using 4 or 5 watts. + No indication of volume level. It does sound great when playing music, if that's your primary interest.

Great sound, especially for the price. This speaker pairs nicely with my other Sonos speaker for a crisp, clear sound. The bass is fantastic too!

For the size it’s a really good sounding, sound bar I’m overall pleased with the quality. If I had one complaint it would have to be the lack of inputs, there’s no aux or Bluetooth. There are ways around those cons if you own other Sonos speakers.

I bought sonos ray and it’s freaking so good for one room and very good quality of sound.

I bought this sound bar because I already had the 2 Sonos one's and the sub so this was the missing link to be able to use the speakers with my TV. The sound is good and there's a little bass to it when the subwoofer is off

Sonos is top of the line but usually very expensive. This is a good compromise. You still get the Sonos quality at a very reasonable price. I like the sound it delivers. It also has a small footprint which is nice.

This sound bar is clear and great for tv, movies, and gaming. I like that I can connect my Spotify through the app and access the volume there as well. I am hoping to connect my remote to the speaker so my child can turn the volume up and down as needed.

Bought as an open-box model from the BB outlet. Could not be more pleased with the product and the way it sounds in a small room. And a great price

Sonos Sound bar works great with our new TV, and was paired with our older Sonos Speakers and added to the app. Very easy to work. The TV has great sound with this. We didn't want to add a soundbar that included a Sub Woofer due to space, but we think this sounds great for every day TV, Sports and Movies.

I bought this around Christmas for $229.00. It has great sound but no remote control. You have to control it with your phone.

Big sound for such a compact unit! The SONOS Ray fits perfectly under out 55 in TV. The sound quality is enjoyable and perfect for the size of our living room

This is a marvelous sound bar that works beautifully with the 40” TV in an upstairs office/bedroom. The sound is great, especially having added two Sonos One SL speakers. Very highly recommend this great value soundbar.

Low price, the clarity of the vocals is very impressive. Thumbs up, good job. I would recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a decent, high quality sound bar.

Great sound and easy to operate as well as lookin great

Great sound in a small package……but, it does not play well with the 2022 Samsung Frame TV. We have the Samsung one box hidden in another room using the long one connect cable. To use with Samsung you must change the remote from RF to IR to use with the Sonos Ray. Despite following all the directions and reaching out for tech support we cannot get the Sonos to respond to the Samsung remote. We are returning it. We love Sonos products and own others but for the Samsung Frame - steer clear for now
