Did not work with my new TV

To work properly on ALL levels, The TV only accepts an HDMI connection. This soundbar is only has an optical connection. The salesperson at the Best Buy store assured me it was compatible-NO. I hade to have the Geek Squad staff come out to evaluate to problem and give me the bad news that it was not compatible. I had to return the soundbar and get a more expensive replacement. Plus the Geek Squad visit cost me an additional $109. BTW-no compensation from the store on them getting it wrong and me being out more money. Disappointed in customer service at the Olympia Store.

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.definitely a great sounding sound bar. just does not carry voices well. even using the Night Sound and the speech enhancements, if you run a small fan in a bedroom it gets immediately drowned out. a bit disappointing for the price. and no HDMI or bluetooth? seems behind on the times

However, different generation speakers are largely incompatible. We opted to return the sound bar (S-2 generation) because we wanted to keep using our earlier generation (S-1) Sonos speakers and amp.
