Compact but fills in the room with crisp dialogue. Can build into a system with the sub and other speakers. Best pro to me is you could easily switch between the Sonos Ace and Ray sound bar as it is compatible for switching seamlessly.

To use on a PC setup I can say its a very nice sound to have in front of you when you want to not have headphones on, a little heavy of the Bass but I am personally a fan of that, then again you will have to use the SONOS app to setup the bar and from there you can tweak the sound profile (EQ) to what sounds good to you, overall I would but again for my setup if I didn't have speakers already since I bought it for my girlfriend.

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality sound stage of this soundbar given its compact size. The soundbar has great depth and clarity on the high end, middle notes sound great, and base has a surprisingly adequate thump despite the lack of a sub woofer. This soundbar is stylish perfect for smaller spaces and is great to live on a small table below your tv and even fits in cabinets. It's a little expensive when you consider other soundbars in this price range come with a sub as well, but that is to be expected with a premium sonos product. All in all, I'd say this is an excellent buy for those that want quality sound, but lack space for a larger sound bar.

The Wave Soundbar works great. I was able to buy it as an “open box” which made the price a little more reasonable. Sonos products are extremely expensive for what you get but I do like them. They are just way over priced in general. Thankful that Best Buy had and open box that saved me $70 and it was in perfect shape.

There are a lot of options that are cheaper than SONOS, but few that sound as good. I have quite a few SONOS speakers in the house, so adding a soundbar to my bedroom the Ray was a no-brainer. Fantastic sound for a smaller room (like said bedroom) without requiring surround speakers or a separate sub. It will reach levels plenty high for most listeners. The sound response is excellent. SONOS offers TruePlay & firmware updates.

I'm really impressed with the crystal-clear dialogue and excellent sound stage that the Ray provides for its compact size, making it a perfect, simple upgrade for enhancing TV watching in a smaller room. My main frustration, however, is the lack of Dolby Atmos support and the limited connectivity, as the reliance on optical audio means I often sacrifice modern features that comparable soundbars offer.

Best sounding soundbar I've ever owned. Truly phenomenal sound for such a small package and reasonable price (esp. if you get it on sale). My only issue is that there is no HDMI input and the Optical input doesn't allow you to control the volume with the TV remote on newer TVs. Volume control works great with my 10 year old Samsung TV remote but not my 2 year old LG TV remote (I have to open the Sonos app to control the TV volume).

Great entry level sound bar for a smaller living room or apartment. The voice clarity is pristine and the low-end is exceptional for a soundbar this small. Music sounds really really nice on it and I'm not quite an audiophile but I do appreciate high quality music and this fits in nicely for the price. Just keep in mind this sound bar only connects with SPDIF fiber audio cable, it does NOT support eARC with HDMI so you'll need to make sure you have a universal remote for your tv (my samsung tv remote is universal).

I have (literally) tried every compact sound bar on the market, including the Sonos Beam, which should be better than the Ray if you go by price. Non of them were keepers and were returned. But the Sonos Ray is absolutely amazing! I use it with a 55" LG OLED and it pairs beautifully. I've always used HDMI(ARC) for sound but this has Optical Audio and I think it's better. All the others had a lip sync issue I had to adjust out but this is perfectly synced. Honestly, this is a great sound bar I you just watch TV and movies. Just enough bass and more importantly for me, no tinniness in the treble and mid-range. I'm very happy with it.

THis sound bar is a game changer for my new TV! THe set up and the app are easy to setup and use. I especially like the fact that I can stream my audio content from my devices to the sound bar. It has almost negated the need for having a separate stereo system, but not quite. I also like the fact that the current TV and sound bar technology has reduced the amount of cable barf needed to hook things up.

I bought this for my home office and it easily fills the room with great sound. Simple setup, easily pairs with iPhone and wifi.

To be fair, the sound was great. It was, however, too complicated for the person for whom it was intended. It is controlled through an app on the phone. Too much tech at once with phone and two remote controls (tv)! Turns out the sound from the new tv was perfectly fine on its own. Returned this item. If you know how to use it, however, the sound is excellent.

This sounds decent, but no remote and its not bluetooth for the newer tvs.

Very good sound quality soundbar, works well with Sonos app, much more than just a soundbar

I like the clear sound. It's great if you normally have to put on closed captioning because the sound is muffled. Sonos sound is crisp and clear. However, I wish it came with a remote to raise and lower the volume rather than using the app on the phone.

I’m really impressed with the Sonos Ray in white. Setup took just a few minutes with the Sonos app and the included optical cable, and it synced to my TV remote right away. The sound quality is fantastic for such a compact bar. Dialogue is clear, music sounds full and lively, and there is more bass than I expected for the size. Speech Enhancement and Night Sound have been super handy for late-night watching. The design is clean and minimal, so it blends right into my setup. I also love that it works seamlessly with other Sonos speakers, allowing me to group rooms or upgrade later with surrounds or a Sub Mini. If you want a simple, great-sounding upgrade over TV speakers without a complicated setup, the Sonos Ray is a perfect pick. Buying through Best Buy was easy, and the pickup was quick. Highly recommend.

A great buy for the price point, especially as an entry soundbar the upgrade from your TVs speakers is truly crazy to hear. The bar also looks beautiful and is small enough to fit in compact spaces. I returned mine for the beam gen 2 after doing a bit more research, but for this price if you arent wanting to drop the $500, you cant beat it.
