Set up could be more easy to understand and instructions on how to connect it should be packed with the item. But YouTube has plenty of videos to help with that. The sound is crisp and clear. The mix of bass and treble are not adjustable but with this price point that is understandable. Still, it is well worth the money and its a very good unit.

Overall it wasn't impressive and I returned all of the products. What I didn't like about Sonos was that any time there was an update I would get an error that required me to painstakingly troubleshoot each piece of the system. Usually the solution was to get the sub mini, take it across the house, move my dresser to access the router, and plug in the sub mini to update via ethernet cable. What a process! It was burdensome. The products are very expensive, don't sound any better than much cheaper sound systems, and ended up being very frustrating.

I had never noticed the low sounds like thunder that were carried by several of the programs that I watched but they were coming from the woffer and I had never heard them before!

You can only control the volume by the Sonos app or manually on the ray.

Pairing was easy with the optical connection. This does not have an HDMI ARC port but that's OK with us since we couldn't get the HDMI to work on our other brand soundbar on another TV. The second reason we got Sonos this time is we have a pair of Sonos 1 speakers. We got all 3 paired together using the Sonos app for an awesome surround sound experience. Glad we went with Sonos

I have many of their products and if it wasn't for my wife assisting I be somewhat reasonable at times, I'd have even more. We bought the Ray and a pair of 100s for a surround system in my son's room and it is amazing. We also have a couple of the beams and I'm not certain if I can tell a difference.
