For one, get yourself a soundbar. And two, get THIS sound bar. It sounds amazing and is modular in a way that you can start with the sound bar, and then add things to it later like a subwoofer and tweeters.

However my wife didn't like it because you can only use if you are using the Sonos App... It would be nice to just pair via Bluetooth and be good to go!

Excellent Sound Bar if You Have Other Sonos Device

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As someone who owns other Sonos devices, purchasing this sound bar was an easy decision because of its simple integration with the existing Sonos ecosystem. This isn't a top of the line Sonos soundbar but it still sounds great. It connects via optical audio and volume is adjusted using an IR remote. (I was able to configure my Chromecast remote to control the Ray.) As long as you know what you're getting, you'll be happy with the purchase.

This is a great sound bar

I have many of their products and if it wasn't for my wife assisting I be somewhat reasonable at times, I'd have even more. We bought the Ray and a pair of 100s for a surround system in my son's room and it is amazing. We also have a couple of the beams and I'm not certain if I can tell a difference.

Set up could be more easy to understand and instructions on how to connect it should be packed with the item. But YouTube has plenty of videos to help with that. The sound is crisp and clear. The mix of bass and treble are not adjustable but with this price point that is understandable. Still, it is well worth the money and its a very good unit.

Good for Price

This sound bar gets loud, and with the Sonos app, you can enhance speech volume for those stubborn shows/movies that like to have very low-volume dialogue. It can definitely be improved with the Sub and additional One speakers, but until then, it surely will suffice.
