This is not Bluetooth, it's WiFi. Setup was a pain and you're forced to use their APP. After first time using and setting up with our home WiFi, the sound is decent. You have to use the APP to control the sound volume (which is inane because if you are working out, you need one remote control for the TV, your phone APP for the sound). Not sure why you can't control the sound volume using the TV remote if you set up with that TV. The last few times we wanted to use, you have to manually turn on and manually use the sound bar to control the volume because the stupid APP would not connect to the sound bar. It is incredibly frustrating for the high price and headache because it's not truly streamlined for using on a consistent basis.

This speaker uses WIFI, not Bluetooth, and public college WiFi’s don’t work! Sad because I asked in advance, ended up returning it!

Intermittent volume levels

You can sometimes do sort of a reset if you decrease back to zero or you may have to inplug the unit. Sometimes it works fine it's one of those stupid intermittent problems. I wish I had bought something else. Also, when I try to go to my Sonos phone app, it doesn't recognize my Ray and I have to reset the app. Won't recommend to anyone. When it does work the sound is great.
